Parameter sesskey is missing... Presenter 10

I have published the SCORM 1.2 package using Presenter 10 (project contains static slides and audio only). I had tried to upload it to Moodle 2.7 LMS - after uploading it shows the dialog: Error: parameter sesskey is missing. What can I do? Please, any idea.

Works A3C widget in Captivate 8.01?

I tried to report data from quiz via A3C widget, wich is actually updated to v2. Widget have register the published quiz modul (SWF) correctly, learner take the quiz but after logging to CPLIVE I can see only the name of registered module and nothing happens. No data, no reports, no error message. Works this technology? And second question - no more supported reporting via Acrobat.com in Captivate 8?

This is exactly what I need. My question is - can I use the radio button interaction or smart shape instead click box? What you recommend? I use CP7 or CP8.

Need to publishing the final test both HTML5 and SWF output. My test wil have 55 questions and 4 results score - one of them describe the personality of learner.

After updating to CP 8.0.1 content play locally, but not on the web

After updating to CP 8.0.1 I have the problem - published HTML 5 content work locally on comupter ok, but when is uploaded to web (at the same place as older version of the same content), it plays preloader only - forever.... Hundred times I check when links are correct, remove and upload content, remove and create new folder, republish and again upload and nothing happens...

Win 7 Pro, CP 8.0.1, Google Chrome v.37.0.2062.124 m and also tried v.38.0.2125.104 m

IE also not play this content.

Hellou everybody, last week I have upgraded to Presenter 9. Please, know somebody, where can I find and replace text Adobe Presenter on splash screen, when loading exported course from Presenter 9? In previous version of Presenter 8 it was inside wpconfig file (text ,,uiname..."). But this line of uiname text file I cannot to find inside instalation Presenter 9.

Is GIF animation not supported in HTML5 output?

Hellou, please, I have GIF animations in my project CP8 (not responsive project). After publishing HTML5 output the GIF not working and application freeze on first slide, wich contains GIF. I can also see in HTML5 tracker panel message.

What is big surprise for me, when I look to Library, other GIF animations works correctly. All GIFs are similar, from the same source.

Have any idea?

Hi, I just upgraded my workflow from CP7 to CP8. Is there a way to convert existing CP7 projects to responsive project file inside CP8? Or is it possible manually only?

I watched a set of perfect official tutorials about CP8 on Youtube channel from Allen and Pooja production, but about my question I am not sure, it can be realize by converting or starting manually.

New Captivate 8 - amazing!

I spent a few hours in a new CP8 - elegant UI, Reorganized well, I feel the CP8 great! I'm excited about the new responsive designinig. It was only the initial test, but it was worth it to upgrade my CP7 (sometimes I wondered a few weeks). I was a little sorry, that the files from vCP8 version can not be open with vCP7. But, not important for my -:)

First summary: Great job, Adobe, I look forward to new ways of working inside in CP8.

What is your experience? I hope not too many bugs (such as version 6 - it was terrible), and those which will be quickly corrected.

Hellou everybody, please help. I cant install Presenter Mobile app to tablet with Android 4.0.4 version. This is crazy, because I read on google application install page, that Presenter Mobile is supported on Android version 4.0 and higher.

I have buyed 10 tablets for planned mLearning activity. What can I do now?

my demo project have some normal slides and quiz slides. When I publish project, between some slides I can see ,,flickering effect" - sure not nice. I remember, that similar problem was in CP 6.0.

Great job! New panel Swatches in Captivate 7

I waited for this so long time!!! Today I have instaled new update Captivate 7, Win7. Now we have new panel Swatches, so finally I can save my colors into swatch and save it as ASE file - exchange format for color swatches. Great job Adobe CP team! It need in the future some more enhacements, but for this time I am happy, it is here!

I tried import to Captivate 7 my swatch.ase from Illustrator CC and it works fine. But after exporting another swatch from Captivate 7 as ASE and import it to Illustrator CC or Photoshop CC, it show error dialog. Hope, will be fixed.

Somebody know, what other new capabilities contain this update?

Youtube widget works not correctly?

Hellou everyone, I have placed the Youtube widget on the slide of my CP7 project. In preview mode (F12) all works correctly and widget displays video from youtube. After publishing to SWF output, the slide is sometimes blank, sometimes show the Youtube content. I dont understand, why. Any idea, please?

Late payment CC - what can I do now?

Hellou,

I forgot to send money to the account from which adobe charge creative cloud service. Service moved to trial versions. So I have sent extra money, but the service remains in trial mode . Why not click button anywhere in the account to carry out the re- payment ? There's a lot of stupid infos, all of which will not be available and bla bla bla, but a simple command to reissue not. Whan can I do now?

Otherwise, Creative cloud as a service is fayn, but it works like ****. Every time nonstop some problems, bugs...

And no alternatives - perpetual licenses. This is a big mistake. All the products from all stopped CS suites was included in new Creative Cloud service, but without one from eLearning Suite 6 - Adobe Captivate. So now I must pay Creative Cloud service + single Captivate monthly subscription. Thank you Adobe, good job.

One more crazy situation: because Captivate is not a part of CC, I can continue to buy this product as an box upgrade. I contacted Adobe support, because - hey guys, I want to upgrade to Captivate 7 from Captivate 6 wich is a part of my eLearning Suite 6. It is not possible and now I must buy a Captivate after years of use as part of eLearning suite like new full version of Captivate (1100 USD), or pay subscription. So crazy!!!!!!

So, my solution:

1. I continue with Captivate 7 subscription because Captivate I LOVE!

2. At end of year-plan of Creative cloud I will stop service and I downgrade from Creative Cloud to eLearning Suite 6, because I need Flash, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Acrobat... I save money.

4. Next, perhapse, I will spend my money not to buy new Captivate 7 full version, but to buy concurent product Articulate Storyline (same 1100 EUR). It is better to have alternative product because Adobe business politics is unpredictable and unreliable.

What you think about it, Adobe?

I have aggregated project, wich contains 5 modules swf. Each module have graded quiz. and I need functionality - User must pass each quiz to continue to next module.

In Quiz preferences dialog for each module I have setting: User must pass quiz to continue. But problem is, when user fail quiz, the project allow to continue to next module nonstop (pass or fail). How can I resolve this problem? Need I use some advanced actions?

Hello, please help.

I have a quiz that contains four question pools with some questions. All questions and answers are on slides aligned and they look ok. After exporting to SWF some answers on slides overlap. I do not know why. Do you have someone experience with these problems? Quiz was created in CP6 and imported to CP7.

I am madly.

After second or third instalation update BUG FIXES now I cannot open NOTHING!!!! InDesign CC constantly crash at startup.

Dear Adobe, I need NOW export some document to print. I NEED URGENT HELP!!!!!!!, because nothing can be opened. InDesign CC has stopped working.

I love InDesign. I use long time. I teach InDesign long time my students. But this is sure TOOO MUCH!!!!!!

I cannot reinstall because I have not installation files. Reinstal from cloud not resolve. I have no IDML file...

Horrible, horrible, horrible. Back to CS6 and stop Cloud payment.

Hope, asap will come some another comparable solutions from another companies.

Jump to specific slide from resume quiz slide?

Hello everybody, please help -

1. Quiz setting: User must pass quiz - when I use this option and user take the quiz, after last question slide, when he is failed, dont appear resume slide and application automatically jump to first slide. User is a little desoriented.

2. Quiz setting: User must take the quiz - when I use this option and user take the quiz and he is failed, the resume slide apperars, but I cannot insert button at this slide, so user after click him can start the same modul again. I tried insert smart shape and choose Use as button with action Jump to slide 1, but it not works - nothig happens.

How I can I do this?

1. User start and will finish quiz

2. Resume slide will appear (pass or fail result)

3. User can Continue to nex slide, or take the same quiz again by click to button.

4. User can print resume slide (I tried print widget, but it works not correctly).

Adobe released Captivate 6.1 update

Hello everybody, can I ask Captivate product managers, or others, about new Captivate 6.1 update? Today my CP 6 (monthly subscription) updated by automatic updater to version 6.1. Problem is, I cannot find some more information about this news yet. But I can see inside Captivate, for example, in Interactions there are some new cool interactions thats look and works fine. I found also new panel Drag and drop, wich is perfect!!! There are also some new support for HTML5 export.

When Adobe will release more information about this update? Is this update only for subscription or single product? This wuestion is because I have also electronic license of eLearning Suite 6, and CP6 inside eLS6 was not updated. I hope, Adobe will provide update for all Captivate 6 (single or include in eLS), so we can works in team on the same version CP.

Hello, I am user of eLearning Suite 6 and also I am new customer of CC -:) In my opinion CC is very very robust and comfortable place for creativity, I like it! But I also understand box customers and their petitions and protests. I hope Adobe rethink cancelled CS products and reopen them as alternative for people who can not or need not CC.

I have one question - will be Adobe Captivate and Adobe Presenter a parts of Creative Cloud? The reason of my question is - because all products from Creative Suites Families was completely included to Creative Cloud. But central apps from Elearning Suite - Captivate and Presenter - no! Why?

Second question - for new CC versions will be available also some extensions for elearning development (Flash learning Interaction, CourseBuilder, SCORM packager and other special parts od eLearning Suite)?

Quiz result analyzer dont show data report from quiz

Hello, everybody please I need urgent help - I share my Quiz with my student via Acrobat com. Everything works perfectly - I colaborate /share quiz with him via Acrobat com, student take Quiz in PDF format and sent me Post results succesfully. When I open Quiz results analyzer, I can see correct items such as Organization, Department and name of Quiz, but when I press Generate report button, nothink is happened, only small message: data is not present on local filesystem. Data is downloading... but nothink is showed and nothink downoladed really. What can be wrong?

When I tried to export quiz to SWF not PDF, after end of Quiz student cannot Post result, because he need to do something with security setting. But he dont know what, I can not see, what dialog appears him, because it is online. After setting he need restart application, but this is not possible because this quiz have one attempt. I am so frustrated. Bugs, problems, bugs, problems, the big sea of problems only, and shame... and anger. Can somebody from adobe say me, what reliable I can say to client now??? he wait and his quizzing is now stupid parody.

Btw, the same big sea of problems with shared review engine. Captivate Reviewr works similary excellent.

Captivate 6 and Flash CS6

Hello everybody, I have some small questions - have somebody ideas, where I can find some tutorials, examples or courses about workflow Captivate 6 - Flash CS6, especially how to make some cool elearning swf assets inside Flash CS6 wich I can bring to Captivate 6? Flash is excellent tool for creating animated spoken characters, vector graphics, cartoon scenes, etc. etc. but I miss some community discussions - who make it and who use these external assets inside Captivate. My question is not about how to use software, but who make external assets and where is perhapse some examples.

Similary, there are a lot of another great capabilities inside eLearning Suite 6, but with minimal online support or community discussion - for example Dreamweaver Course Builder - in my opinion - so nice and quick way to make html5 interactive mobile learning content and quizzing (perhabse this content can be integrate with jquery mobile framework and publish via phone gap, all inside dremaweaver) and publish it to mobiles and smartphones.

I know, this is not forum about eLearning Suite 6, but I want to say only, to users of Captivate 6 (wich I love and work with him everyday) - we can do much more, but I cannot find discusions here in adobe forums.

eLearning Suite forum is too silent, Flash forum is about commercial gaming, Dreamweaver forum about webdesign. And Adobe elearning strategy is too concentrated around Captivate only (blog and forum).

So finally, we can do much more with eLearning Suite. More than slide-to-slide elearning only, more than simple presentation graphics, animations and interactions. More than rapid elerning only. What you think abou it? -:)

CP6 - Animated objects flicks

Hellou, everybody. I have project in CP6.0.1. My smart shape objects on slides have effects from prebuilt in CP6 - Stretch from top and Zoom in. The problem is, these objects flicks first ,,millisecond" when they comes on. I tried delete these effects and readding them to objects again, but problems is not resolved. I tried remove entire objects and bulid them. I tried remove slide transition and readding. Still problems. Have somebody idea, what can I do? In CP 5.5 never have these problems.

Where is flashplayer installation?

Hellou, everybody,

Today I upgraded to eLearning Suite 6 from version 2.5. (quite happy day - )

After complette installation, I was surprised that the swf files lost the possibility of opening directly via flash player (for example, by double-clicking the swf file on desktop). I tried to find the Flash player installation in the Program Files folder, but the flashplayer folder is empty. Reinstall Flashplayer did not help and I still can not find flashplayer exe anywhere on the computer. Swf files I can play at this point only by web browser. In version 2.5 I did not have these problems.

Its for my bigger problem, because sometimes I create projector files and without opening the swf file directly in the flashplayer I can not it.

Win 7, 64 bit PC. Please help !!!

Hi everobody, Could I ask for your experience with prolonged use of CP6 trial? At first I was extremely excited about the new improvements and I wrote the enthusiastic Captivate blog posts, but ...

I started to produce Real elearning project. I spent many hours to develop. During this time I met with different problems with running applications functionality. Slide transitions caused by freezing playback of the project. When you try to enter text into the widget Interactions, project regularly freezes and crashes the whole application. When exporting to swf with conventional slides + video demo after the test: - error message. But a recent CP6 certainly can not open my document elaborated cptx - Adobe Captivate fatal error. Reinstallation did not help, the same problems I have also another computer and laptop. Win 7, 64-bit. It may have been damaged files.

I therefore ask - is this CP6 first beta version or finished product?? So far, in vain I ask Adobe to access the new version of ELS, because trial version CP6 ends very soon and the answer was always: COMING VERY SOON. "Days gone by and I'm standing before a serious question - I have to manually redo the entire project back to the CP version 5.5, with which I have no serious problems.

I lost a lot of time and taste to buy the upgrade. I do not know how Adobe wants to solve technical problems with running Captivate 6, I'm afraid now that will work Presenter 8th I understand that it is a revolutionary upgrade and many new features, but this would still not sell Adobe fact. Probably put down to purchase upgrades of time before there is any patches and updates.

Sorry if someone irritate my post, but it is advisable to know for others, CP6 software is poorly balanced in this state is quite a big risk to embark on a larger project for real.

Every slide as single swf?

Hi all, I would like to ask how to publish Captivate 5.5 project that contains 40 frames not as one single swf, but so that every one slide as single swf. Because, a resulting single SWF is 15 megabytes and students will view the content on the mobile Internet. This is too much. Have somebody a ideas, how can I make it? Something like Presenter publish project - each every slide is single swf.

Hellou everyone, in some previous discussion people speak about a fatal error while building projects. I have a similar problem - when i work on my projects ausing captivate and need to roundtrip to edit graphics using photoshop cs5 wich is a part of my elearning suite2,5, after start of photoshop, captivate say report about fatal error. But suprise, that captivate not shutting down. Before closing this report i first save work in captivate and photoshop and reload source file and no problem. But when i dont save work, after reloading i lost all work from the last correct saving.

Captivate and elearning suite is for me the best toolset not only for create learning content, but for much much more!!!!

Have somebody ideas why is this fatal error report? Win 7 64bit. Lenovo all inone.

Can´t to find TOCStrings.ini file

Hello everyone, I need to localize TOC menu, but I can not to find TOCStrings.ini in folder of my instalation Captivate 5.5, Win 7, 64 bit. Please, can somebody help me?

FMR video has 23,5 MB

Hello everyone, I have a FMR video recorded in CP 5.5 and the swf output file has 23,5 MB. Video is only 1 min 34 sec and I think, this is too much MB. I tried check Compress FMR in Preferences, but no results. Qality Low 8-bit.

Have somebody the answer, what can I do? Thanks for all reponses.

Text button links does not work in CP 5.5

Hellou everyone, I have a problems with Text button in my Captivate 5.5 projects. They are not works, when I publish my project as SWF. But when I test movie only (ctrl-enter), button links work ok. Action for button: Open URL.

I do not understand, why. Please, can somebody help me?

Why is not Illustrator in eLearning Suite?

Hello,

please I want to ask the eLearning Suite product team, why is not Illustrator a part of eLearning Suite? I miss this product in eLS suite :(

Previously I used CS, CS2, CS3 and CS4 Design Premium and I think Illustrator is the best aplication for the drawing objects - not only for design print or web, created with CSx products, but fo e-learning product also the same well.

Inside in eLearning Suite Workflow video overview, wich is installed by the product, all the videos use drawing illustrations - Karens story. Product page of eLearning Suite on Adobe also includes drawed graphics. But in eLearning Product we have not aplication for drawing.

This is questions only, i love eLS 2.5, but this one ILL I miss very..

Captivate Rewiever 2.5

Hellou, we have a problems with the commenting process. I use Captivate 5.5 and I want to send the project file for rewiew and commenting to team. But problem is, that in invitation email is link on Captivate Rewiever 2.0, not 2.5 and people can not to open crev file from CP 5.5 and comment work. Please, somebody know, where I can downolad the Captivate Rewiever 2.5 for them?
