Login Problem Flash Media Admin Console

New to FMS, testing FMS Developers versions.

Connect and Live stream works fine using FMLE.

Problem is I'm not sure how to get logged into the Admin Console.

I'm not sure about what the "Server Name" is or the "Server Address". Is that just the IP address or the IP plus something else? How can I tell?

FMS install was done by tech at hosting company and he forwarded this info:

Flash Media Server Port = 1935,80
Flash Media Admin Server Port = 1111

Apache Install = Yes

Administrative username = ******
Administrative password = ******

Injecting cue points after or during recording

Using FMLE, I'm recording a copy of the Live stream. I would like to "mark" certain points in the recording with cue points to serve as navigation points at playback time. For example, speaker intro, his first point, his second point, etc.

Can I dynamically inject those points, on the fly, so to speak, during recording? If not, what is the best way to quickly and easily inject those navigation cue points after recording, without having to re-encode the video file?

Need CSS help Coda-Slider 2

I'm having trouble setting the width of the <ul> in this Coda-Slider tab set up. I'd like all the tabs across the top to display in one line rather that wrap to two.

You'll see the last tab wraps below.

Looked over the CSS and .js and could not find anything setting the <ul> to 552...

But IE Developer Tools toolbar and Firebug show an inline style of 552px...

I just can't find where that is.

Does Flash Media Server work with Wirecast?

Does Flash Media Server work with the encoding software, Wirecast?

Do any of you have experience integrating the two? Good or bad ?

I'm currently using Red5, which doesn't work with Wirecast, but I'd like to be able to use Wirecast.

Any advice would be appreciated!

What are credentials/tokens needed to connect to FMS

I'm trying to connect to FMS with Wirecast and keep getting this error

Cannot publish the stream. Verify the stream name and if you have provided any credentials/tokens that they are up to date.

[-4020]that they are up to date.

and of course, can not connect. What are credentials/tokens?

I can connect to FMS with FMLE no problem, just the url and the stream name and all is fine.

How to connect to Flash Media Server

I just had the Adobe Flash Media Server Demo version installed on our server, not my localhost.

I'm also using Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder for the encoding.

What I don't understand is what will the correct FMS URL be?

I currently have Red5 installed and it's working just fine and I can understand what that URL is.... I'm just not sure what the URL would be for the FMS.

I have the IP address plus above, but that doesn't seem to work. What am I missing? This is a new install, do I need to set something in the admin panel?

Dropped frames problem

I am streaming live events using FMLE and a Sony VX2100 cam. Input looks great, at times output...not so much.

It seems that if the cam is panned or zoomed, the encoder tends to drop frames. The result on the viewers end is that the video will freeze up, then start up again at the point after the skipped frames.

Any ideas why panning and zooming are a problem for the encoder? How to deal with dropped frames like that?

FMLE doesn't recognize device

We are using a JVC Hard Disk Camcorder Enverio and a USB computer connection. I appears that FMLE doesn't want to recognize the device. How do I get around that problem?
