Uninstall Photoshop CS4 and CS5

I have Photoshop CS4 and CS5 installed, CS4 also in x64 version.

Also Acrobat Pro.

I'd like to uninstall all Photoshop stuff only, i.e. not Acrobat.

Before proceeding: will the uninstall also remove all the 'other' Photoshop matters?

Bridge, Device Central etc.etc.

How to sort pages

A foolish question maybe, but .. what am I supposed to do to get pages in reverse order.

I have a 80 page document and I want all pages to be in reverse order, old at the bottom, whereas old is at the top now.

Maybe it isn't possible ..?

Converting website to PDF - landscape

Newbie question:

Usually website converting is okay (portrait), but sometimes I think it better to convert website pages to landscape orientation.

Is this possible?
If so, how am I to proceed?

Is it possible to have Acrobat ask which orientation?

Or alternatively add a landscape oriented conversion to the context menu?

Is it possible to resize the page, for example, when drag top margin down so things I dont need won't be printed

and or insert a page separator, so e.g. images are not cut into two (one part on page 1, other part on page 2)

A little bit like the below (gave it a try to illustratie what I mean)

XI: Combine File - add filenames at bottom

When combining files (e.g. jpg) to 1 PDF I would like to add the source filename + date (EU format) at the bottom of the each page.

It would roughtly be as follows:

the combine files steps as usual

then a sequ that adds the original filename+date at the bottom of the image

see below

Regretfully the filename stamper isn't really suitable for this job (it only adds the name of the 'produced' filename, so, 'binder.pdf' or whatever other output filename).

Any suggestions?

Installing previous version of flash player

Up front:

I know - I know - I am in the wrong group/forum.

But

a) when posting earlier I got something of a not authorized error

b) when searching for a flash player forum, most were greyed out

c) my endless searches for a forum admin regretfully remained in vain

As my last restort I am posting here...

I have resp. want...:

1. uninstalled Flash Player as outlined on http://forums.adobe.com/message/4041846

(How do I do a clean install of Flash Player?)

2. IE11 x64 and Firefox on my Windows 7 x64

3. downloaded/extracted fp_10.3.183.20_archive.zip and found below files suitable for installation

flashplayer10_3r183_20_win_sa.exe

flashplayer10_3r183_20_win.exe

flashplayer10_3r183_20_winax.exe

4. installed flashplayer10_3r183_20_win.exe, but for IE this was not suitable

5. installed flashplayer10_3r183_20_winax.exe but IE still asked for Flash Player to be installed

For some reason (long story) I need an old version suitable for FF and IE to be installed.

Q: how am I to proceed ??

i.e. what files no I need for these two browsers?

Create separate pages from 1 long screencapture

Whilst using the 'scrolling region' or 'scroll active window' functionality within my screencapturing program, I can capture long documents, such as websites, program settings, etc.

After pasted into Acrobat obviously Acrobat has a problem for instance with OCR.

As an example, right now, OCR says it could not perform OCR as the document is larger than 45x45 inches.

I could resize the screencapture to fit width:landscape, but then again, the document is way too long.

I could select a region each time (that may roughly fit A4-landscape) and then via Edit-Copy ->insert from clipboard, but that is quite a job.

Q: Is there no way to do this automatically?

Some 'action' thing ?

i.e. to split a llllong screencapture into A4 portrait or A4 landscape pages?

When combining images quality is lower

Often I create PDF's from screencaptures.

In case of a series of sequential screencaptures I wish to use the combine files to PDF (context menu option).

On the other hand, in cases of single screenshots, or just a very few, I use the create PDF from Clipboard.

It strikes me that the quality of the resulting 'binder1.pdf' is slightly lower than those ones created using the Clipboard option.

This may have some effects on text recognition.

Above are both 200% zoom, hopefully it shows the difference.

Can this be avoided with some preference.

Note: I donot mind the size of the file, for me the best quality counts.

oh, btw, under binder options file size is set to large. makes no difference.

Insert new page from clipboard - landscape

I'd like to insert a new page from clipboard into an existing PDF.

Via Page Thumbnails->Insert Pages->From Clipboard results in a portrait-page, not landscape.

I've looked all over, but could not find a way to insert a landscape page.

Maybe it isn't possible at all ?

Horizontal Selection tool for text

I rotated text pages and used text recognition again.

One way or the other I cannot get the text selection tool change from a 'horizontal' to 'vertical' mousepointer.

Optimize The PDF For Fast Web View

Am wondering: is there any difference in quality when "Optimize The PDF For Fast Web View" is UNtagged?

I know the files may be bigger when this option is untagged, but that aside.

If, in day to day use, there is hardly/or no visible quality difference what is the use of this option?

Supress 'Status' window whilst printing

When printing a portfolio, with a number of files, after each successfull print, Acrobat pops up with the 'Status' window,

i.e. where it says Processed xx of xx and the queue-printlist and what has been done successfully.

Is there a way to surpress this?

Webpage - convert selection to PDF - how to set fontsize?

Converting webpage to PDF

Basically I have three options

Option 1

Selecting all text on a webpage (e.g. ctrl-A), use contextmenu item - convert selection to PDF

Result: fontsize is then much too big (likely Arial 12 or 14)

How to adjust the font to -say 9pt?

Note that in the above, I am -not- using he convert to PDF button in the toolbar...

Option 2:

Convert to PDF using the toolbar button.

Under HTML settings, I change the base fontsize to e.g. 9pt.

The output is okay then.

However..., it strikes me that a long webpage, covering maybe 3-4 A4 pages in lenth, using this option will result in a print of page 1 only.

The other pages are nót converted.

Cannot use this option.

Option 3:

Use create button: Create from website, page the URL, set fontsize.

The output in this case (tables) goes wrong: the headers are on the first page, the contents on the remaining page.

Consequently the output does not correspond with what is on screen.

Cannot use this option.

Bottomline, only option 1 can be used, but I need to adjust the fontsize.

If that cannot be done, then regretfully Acrobat (xi) cannot handle this.
