Webapps login - remember me

Hi all.

I'm trying to implement a login form to a securezone with a "remember me" checkbox.

I'm inserting the code straight from modules > Site Modules >Secure zones > Sign In form. I then insert code for "generic secure zone login box".

From what I read on here it should just "work" but I don't see how....

All its really doing over a normal log in for is adding in the following code:

<div class="item"><input type="checkbox" name="RememberMe" value="on" id="RememberMe"><label for="RememberMe">Remember Me</label></div>

Is there something else I should be doing?

Unique views for any given page

Uploading files via webapps - renaming files

Hey Guys

When I upload a file through a web app, it renames the file once uploaded with some numbers and underscores.

say:

"document.pdf"

now becomes:

"872473_786483_document.pdf"

after the upload.

I need to get this filename... Does anyone know what are these numbers are?

Make multiple items secure

Hi everyone, I have a question about adding secure zones to multiple webapp items.

I have many webapp items I would like to make secure (600+ items).

I can do this for individual items by going to it and clicking the Action button > make item secure

and adding the zones.

Is there a way I can apply this to all of my webapp items at once to save me alot of time?

Is there away around the 500 limit for web app results before pagination occurs?

The site wide search seems to be able to go more than that, why can't the seemingly more customisable web app module do the same?

Change page templates on the fly

I there a way to change the template of a given page while browsing on the site?

Consider this example:

I have an instance where I will have to provide 300+ content pages for a number of users still on dial up. I have a normal template, with fancy jquery sliders and big images and all that good stuff.

I want to be able to provide a link in the site to switch to a less intense/stripped down template so they can have the page load more quickly for them.

If you guys are familar with wordpress, you can theme switch via a link or button on the site (with a plugin or programatically). I want to do something silmilar with BC, with out having to recreate the site structure again, one for high bandwidth users, the other for dial up users.

Really appreciate any help!

Hi, new to the site and BC. Apollogies if this is an easy question.

I've implemented a site search layout and get the results with the tags {tag_name}, {tag_description}, etc.

How can I get the the actual search term used to search in the first place? I want to display something like

"Search Results for {search_term}" etc.

Can it be done?
