Text Field Align Bottom

I'm wishing to change the alignment of text fields from top alignment to bottom alignment. When right click the field and choose styles > create a new style > Value Text Formatting, I can change the vertical alignment. But I can't do this for many fields at once. How I can change or apply a style to many fields? The Style Editor is greyed out when I select several fields but yet when I'm in the style editor with one field selected I see a button on the bottom that says "apply to selection."

I've tried using text fields combined with text to no avail. Is a flowable paragraph like this possible where the bold words are user entered and expand or contract with the words on either side of it and certain fields are mandatory drop down choices?

I've tagged well over 200 photo's and 90% of them have been my daughter, my wife and myself. It just keeps asking me who my daughter is, my wife is and who I am. Maybe 20 new faces. Why hasn't it learned who the three of us are?

I put everyone of my photo's in one folder.

I made sure none of them were selected by clicking in the gray area between thumbnails

It indicates there are over 11,000 photo's.

I click "Add People" from the bottom menu

It asks me if I'm sure, I click yes

Finds unlinked photo's which I ignore and do not reconnect because I deleted them. Why doesn't Adobe have a ignore button or delete missing file from catalog button?

Finds photo's that don't support people recognition and notifies me that they will be skipped -- YEA!

I Start Tagging and it repeatedly asks me who the same people are with an occasional new person.

Am I missing something or is Adobe's Face Recognition grossly inferior to Picasa?

Identifying & modifying duplicate values for radio buttons

The error reads: The are at least two Radio Buttons which have the same value. Since the gorup is meant to be mutually exclusive, all values must be unique.

I've tried using the object pane to rename but it doesn't remove the warning.

Can I do anything to enable document assembly amongst LC produced docs? I have forms that I constantly improve. Its nice to take the most recent form, insert the older, populated, form and have all the fields, with the same name, updated in the the latest form.

Page Numbering

I'm trying to fix a live cycle form I inherited. The page numbering at the bottom center just displays Page # of 1, on the first page. It always show the hash tag not the current, respective, page number.

I click on the Master Pages Tab and see that there are 4 text boxes: 1) "Page," 2) "#," 3) "of," and 4) "1." There are 8 pages total and the last text field is a static number associated with the specific master page.

To fix this, I deleted the 4 text boxes, went to insert > custom > and selected "Page n of m."

Went to preview PDF tab but it does not show the respective page numbers but rather blanks "Page of "

Rectangle with subtle curved bottom

I would like to shape the bottom of a rectangle at 600dpi that equates to 5100px by 900 px (8.5 x 1.5) using 5 or so total anchor points.

It would be 1.5" high on the left and 0.825" high on the right. The curve would look like the, warp-rise effect, but only on the bottom, and then subtly flatten out to the .825 end or right side.

letters in font change to squares after inserting a page from file

I created a document from word. I tried both "save as" and print to pdf. Niether prevented the problem.

The document looks perfect until I insert pages from a file that contains three pages. After inserting the pages the first page font is skewed with squares instead of letters. See image.

Auto Tone feature in Acrobat

Right now when I scan a mostly text document to pdf I can open it in Photoshop and darken the text nicely. But its a pain to do each page, then save, and re-assemble. Can Acrobat XI do this, perhaps in preflight? If you're reading this Adobe, please add the same auto correcting feature found in photoshop to Acrobat Pro. I notice a huge difference in text intensity when a poor scan is fixed with automated tools in photoshop.

Cleaning up Master Pages in a Livecycle Form

I'm learning how to create forms using livecycle by attempting to clean up a document someone else created that I want in my library.

I've watched several youtube and adobe.tv videos but am still unable to resolve why this particular document has so many master pages when the content on the the master page is the same, i.e., page number, date created etc.

It seems logical that this particualar document only needs one master page and eight pages underneath it. How do I remove un-needed master pages and move the pages with content underneath the master page? I've experiemented with drag and drop but failed.

What's preventing SUM of fields

I'm hold CTRL down while clicking in the cells I wish to have added together to create a total dollar amount.

I have three columns. The first column adds nicely. The second and third do not. When I click on one of the two certain cells in the non-functioning columns, formcalc returns

Sum(Row2.Exp1+xfa.resolveNode("Row2[1].Exp2")+Row3.Exp3

What is xfa.resolveNode mean in Row2[1]?

Copying Fields from one PDF to an Updated PDF - can't move fields on destination pdf

I'm using Word as the authoring software for a PDF. In version 9, I never had problem copying fields from one to another. But in Version 11 I copy them to the new revised form and the fields won't move. I can't move them with the mouse or the keyboard arrows. I do see a bunch activity in the right pane called fields (tab order) but the fields don't move.

Any help understanding why and how to solve is greatly appreciated.

illegible text when "copying selection with formatting"

I'm copying the text from a credit card statement which has four columns. When do any of the following:

paste the text with formatting,
export selection as or
save as .xlsx

the text appears as webdings, or precisely, a diamond with a question mark in it, instead of the text that appears on the statement. The statement does NOT have security -- everything is alllowed. It pastes the odd font in notepad, xcel, and word but if I paste it into quickbooks it pastes fine.

Is this unicode text?

Is there a way to convert or step to convert?

Is this some sort of security feature when originating the document?

REFRESHING CONTENT PANE IN BRIDGE

While reviewing pictures via the content pane, I right-click on a duplicate photo but it takes several minutes for the picture to delete from the hard drive. How do I refresh the content pane after deleting photo's from the hard drive?

I Have a form with six columns and 7 rows. Each row is a question and each column represents a value from 0-5.

If the first column is all checked the value would equal 0 if 4 of the questions are checked in the first column 1 checked in the 2nd column and 1 checked in the 5th column the total should be 6.

TOTAL SHOULD BE 6 in the example above. If all rows are checked in the 6th column the total would be 35.

text blurry after optimize

I scanned a wordy contract with Fujitsu ScanSnap. The scan looks nice, clean, very legible. After I optimized with OCR and reduce file size using Acrobat X the file got smaller but the words are blurry --- almost fax quality?

How can I reduce the file size, straighten the content and maintain a crisp font?

I can't utilize CUDA on my computer using an AMB 6 core processor with a GTX 260 Video Card. I have the latest nVidia driver installed too. Any ideas why the option to enable the CUDA/GPU is greyed out? And how to fix it?

Audio & Video not synchronized on .avi (h.264) clip

Thank you in advance for taking the time read my question.

Using Tipard Conversion software, I converted the .mts file from the Canon HF M31 camera to .avi (h.264) with audio. The new video file is perfectly syncronized when playing in AVC or Windows Media Player.

But when I place that converted .avi file on the CS6 Premiere Pro timeline it becomes unsynchronized. I tried imported directly from the camera but APPro CS6 does not import the audio.

1. Is there a better format to convert to, versus .avi (h.264)?

Any help perfecting how to get the video (with audio) off my Canon HFM31 and onto APPro's timeline would be greatly appreciated.

Pages go blank

After working fine for weeks, when I open a 58 page document I see the content appear on ALL pages in the thumbnail images pane but some of them only briefly and then they go blank or white. How do I fix this?

Locked Form Fields moving

I have an acrobat form where I locked all the fields prior to extending features to Adobe Reader file. When I add a footer and select "Shrink Document..." under appearance options the form fields move irradically. Is there any way to prevent this -- I have to add a footer in the final documet and its important that it always be visable. Is Live Cycle the only solution?

Print Word Doc to Acrobat 9.4.5 fails on 2nd printing

The oddest behavior is happening, any advice to trouble should would be greatly appreciated.

When I print a 133 page Word 2010 document with images, text boxes and text, etc. It prints to the distiller/virtual printer fine ONCE -- but then if I print again to the PDF distiller/virtual printer the text inside the text boxes won't print.

While troubleshooting and making sure all drivers, MS office, and Acrobat was up to date I discovered that after a restart the document prints fine. I also noticed while watching the print progress window that the bar moved slower on the first print job and almost twice as fast on the second job which subsequently had missing text inside the text boxes created by word 2010. I have checked all settings in word and it should print everything and does ONCE.

What gives, anyone?

CAN NOT UNINSTALL or INSTALL Version 9

My Distiller is not working because I mistakenly moved the Adobe folder located on the C: drive to another hard drive to make room. I since moved it back but distiller is still not working.

"Uninstallation of the patch package is not supported." This is the message I get when trying uninstall or when I reinstall the original installation file I get the same message after seeing the "preparing to install ... " message at 100%.

On another note can I tell Adobe where to put files or do they have to reside on the program files drive or C:/?

I'm getting 6 error windows when I start Photoshop CS4.

Custom Stamp not printing

Custom built computer

I'm scanning my signature into .tiff format. I open the tiff with photoshop CS4, use the magic eraser to erase the white background. I save as .png format and make sure "transperancy" is checked. I then save as a photoshop pdf. I use this file to create a custom stamp and it places just fine on documents but it will not print to my Xerox printer.

Any ideas what I'm doing or not doing?

Running Acrobat Standard 8 on a Windows 7 machine with 4 gig of memory. Upon installing Acrobat 8 on Windows 7 I get a pop-up window everytime I try to open a pdf in a web browser. Using IE8 and FF 3.5 both give me the same error.

"Cannot use Adobe Reader to view pdf in your web browser. Reader will now exit. Please exit your browser and try again. (attached)"

Capture Widescreen DV ADVC 110

I'm using a Canon ZR960 that records in 16:9 but when trying to capture the DV using the ADVC 110 in Adobe Premiere (AP) I can't adjust the AP settings to accept the 16:9 format and have been unable to find xml settings updates.

I'm having trouble with my ADVC110 that I haven't used in over a year. If I plug the 1394 cable in the back all the way I can't choose between Analog and Digital. If I pull the cable out a bit, there is a sweet spot where I can change the input type and the status light remains off.

I need help figuring out why Premiere won't recognize it as online?
