Entry Point error in Illustrator

installed, I got the same error again. The error goes like "The procedure entry point. ?AcquireVarient@imageInterface@drawbot@dvaui...etc...F:\Photography\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CS6(64 Bit)\Support Files\Contents\Windows\Illustrator.exe".

I am using Windows 8.1 in a Dell XPS8700. It was running before but the disk crashed and upon re-installation, it has not worked at all. Photoshop, however, does work, but not Illustrator

I appreciate any help.

Illustrator Entry Point Error

Illustrator CS 6. All other application work as always did. Illustrator, however, displays an entry point error that wasn't solved after de-installing and re-installing the whole suite and cleaning the registry using adobe's application for that purpose. What happened is that my disk crashed and all applications had to be re-installed. Illustrator, however, displays this message and quits.

This is my system: Dell 8700, Windows 8.1, plenty of memory.

IF any one knows, please, help.

A bug in Adobe Suite 6

This hapenned in two computers using Windows 8 and 7. Adobe Pro, say, was working right but the next time that I launched, the icon acknowledges the click but nothing hapens after. I checked the Task Manager and it is not listed there. Re-installing the software does not work. The only way that I fixed it is by reformating the computer and installing everything from scratch. If I delete Suite 6 and re-install it does not work either. What else can I try?

Troubles installing CS6

Here is: Windows 7 Pro, 165 Gigabytes free space. Previous Beta Photoshop 6 Installation.

Photoshop 6 Beta does not uninstall citing "errors found". The version was working fine.

Downloaded the CS6 version but the Adobe downloading utility, although complete, it says that it cannot Un Pack citing a file missing or unsufficient space. However, I have 165 Gigabyte space.

The Support councelor issuing the no. 00-64087-092729052012, did not find any issue.

What should I do know?
