      <title>Auto logon signed on as different user</title>

      <title>Win7 corrupted user profile and ExtendScript</title>

      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:fffcfee4-084b-484c-8391-7093da19bec3] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;One of our photographers had her Win7 profile corrupted.&amp;nbsp; IT came by and restored her profile, and everything seemed to be working fine except that now a script that I wrote that saves an XML preference file a subfolder in her my documents folder can't be recognized.&amp;nbsp; In fact I can't get ExtendScript to create a file in any directory below the my documents folder, and it will return false if I check that a file exists - even one that does exists.&amp;nbsp; I've tried both the "~" to get to the directory and hardcoding the path.&amp;nbsp; Nothing works.&amp;nbsp; Has anyone run across this?&amp;nbsp; She can save her normal PS preferences, write files to those folders, etc; but Extendscript just can't see them.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:fffcfee4-084b-484c-8391-7093da19bec3] --&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:b99f9bf7-0fb6-4eb5-8ed6-5252be9cdcb7] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;I've got a flash movie UI in an actionScript UI inside a tabbed panel.&amp;nbsp; With CS4 everything is fine, but just tried it in CS5.&amp;nbsp; First of all a black box shows up where the flashplayer UI is located on ALL tabbed panels and not just the one that holds the flashplayer.&amp;nbsp; This was easily fixed by added an if statement inside of the main tabbedpanel's onChange function.&amp;nbsp; the next issue was that the flashplayer overlaps the standard controls above it.&amp;nbsp; Again fixed this by putting the flashplayer in a group and setting the top margin - didn't have to do this with CS4.&amp;nbsp; The last issue is that one of the controls above the flashplayer is a dropdownlist.&amp;nbsp; When that is selected, the dropdown list is hidden by the flashplayer.&amp;nbsp; Any ideas on how to correct this?&amp;nbsp; Seems like a bug, since it worked fine in CS4.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:b99f9bf7-0fb6-4eb5-8ed6-5252be9cdcb7] --&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:8f0baacd-13ec-40f7-a0ce-8c46dd23f66c] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;Spent a lot of time trying to get fillPath() to work in a UI.&amp;nbsp; Looked to be simple in the scripting guide but no luck.&amp;nbsp; The sample script colorselector.jsx with the Bridge SDK claimed to have paths used in it.&amp;nbsp; I couldn't find it.&amp;nbsp; Maybe Adobe can't get it to work either.&amp;nbsp; Tried a half-baked second approach to use a group and change the bg color.&amp;nbsp; My main intent is to create a visual model of a print with borders that can be adjusted with sliders for the user to get a good idea of that they're going to get.&amp;nbsp; Made a black group and a white group and got it to work in CS3.&amp;nbsp; Went to work and tried it on CS4 and it completely fell apart.&amp;nbsp; The stack order was different than CS3 and I could only get one color to show instead of the two I had in CS3.&amp;nbsp; Can't figure out why Adobe made this much of a change with the scripting to cause this much change.&amp;nbsp; We're having big issues with CS4 and custom XMP templates along with Flash extendscript interface due to some limit our company (I think) is placing on the use of ActiveX.&amp;nbsp; So as Adobe is moving more towards the use of Flash/flex with their other programs, this is causing problems in companies like mine that have tight controls on program interaction.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Don't know if someone from Adobe actually reads these forums, but just want to vent and let them know that there maybe some bugs in their products.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:8f0baacd-13ec-40f7-a0ce-8c46dd23f66c] --&gt;</description>

It seems you have to assign the whole blend mode to the variable at one time ei: var layrNewBlend = BlendMode.SCREEN.

I could not find these. the version of photoshop that I have was supplied by my company, and they may have removed them during installation. Is there some place I can download these samples?

      <title>radial blur keeping a preset</title>

      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:1f8f813c-35d5-4118-be9f-0a16755823ec] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;I need to use the radial blur on numerous layers with the same preset for zoom location. Once photoshop is closed, I have to relocate the zoom center. I've tried making a action to store the setting, a smart filter, and even using scriptlistener, but nothing will hole the zoom location. I doubt there is anything I can do, but Adobe should fix this bug or flaw.
