Edge animation doesn't work in Chrome

My Edge animation works fine in Safari, but doesn't work in Chrome and is sluggish in Firefox. It eventually plays in Firefox but appears to be loading slowly then plays but is sluggish. No problems in Safari. How do I go about troubleshooting this problem. It doesn't load half of my assets in Chrome.

I’ve imported swf files that already have the audio included (from Flash) into Captivate slides that branch. Each slide includes a different swf file that has it’s own audio, and each slide has buttons that allow the user to navigate to any other slide. In preview mode, when I navigate to a new slide, the animation plays fine but the audio is cut off after about 1-2 seconds. This happens consistently on every slide.

I looked at some of the solutions, but my audio is not on a separate layer in the timeline. Should I import my swf files without audio and then bring in the audio files to Captivate?
