Is there a quick way to view pages in Safari, Firefox, Opera (not Live Preview)?

how can I stroke inside center or outside on a partial (non closed) path?

On a closed path (object) I can easily stroke the path on the inside, center or outside of the path. On a partial or non closed path (line segment) this option is not available in the Stroke panel options.

Questions:

1. Is there a way to force illustrator to allow stroke options (inside, center outside) on a partial path?

2. Is there a way to specify an offset for a stroke so that it appears on one side or the other of the partial path?
