custom site search for all web app item fields

It seems like site search will not search all web app item fields, only the name and decsription fields, but nothing else.So on a site with a web app running but a site search running as well.. when searching, it will not pull back all the web app items in the search because of this. Is there a method to update or make the site search capable of searching every field (even custom ones we added to the web app) and pull results including that. for example...

If i have a page that contained the words: disco, mushroom, Chicago

AND a web app item where the title was punk, the description was Purple, and an added custom field for location was Chicago...

A site search would only retun the page and not the web app item because it doesnt see the custom location field.

Impossible to make possible?

Is there any capability within BC to allow a process like this? Any examples of others who have accomplished similar SSO integrations?

Secure Streaming (from amazon S3) of videos to paid subscribers within a web app

My client is looking to create a site with paid subscription, where the subscriber can view streaming video content based on their subscription. the videos are long (30 minutes) and will be of high quality so we figured on using Amazon S3 to host them... our BIG question: is it possible to secure the video in S3 in such a way that AdobeBC will be able to deliver it to subscribed users. We know we can secure s3 content, we know we can have subscribers on BC.. but can we make them play safe together? I am not an expert in either but in the proposal phase, so im looking more for a "it can be done" than a "heres how".. but both would be welcome. thanks!
