add line break in pdf

We have a form that users input

biliography information (name of book, pages, date published, etc) into a text area. they can input multiple articles at once in the text area. is there a way to intoduce a line break on the pdf in between each article? meaning can we tell the users to input something like a % in between articles and have then some how introduce a line break on the pdf for every %?

Oracle 11g error 127

We recently installed Oracle 11g and we are trying to create a coldfusion (version 7)connection to the ODBC data source.

we can create the ODBC and test succesfully on our windows server

after createing a cf datasource we are getting the following error:

Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error 127 (Oracle in OraClient11g_home1).

cfqueryparam causes no records to return some of the time

I have a query set up as

select a.coulmn1, a.coulmn2, c.coulmn3, a.coulmn4
from general_view a, second_view c
where a.id = c.id
and a.coumn1 = <cfqueryparam value="#form.selected_from_previous_dropdown#" cfsqltype="cf_sql_varchar" maxlength="20">
and c.some_other_column= ('#query2.other_column#')

if i remove the <cfqueryparam> portion it runs fine. If i add the query param it some times does not. Is the syntax in error or does cfquery param alter input in some way that would sometimes result in 0 matches when in fact the records should match the criteria?

exclude one field from application.cfm loop

i am using a cfloop collection tag in the application cfm file to loop through and remove special charachters from submitted forms for xss protection. I want to exclude one or two fields from this because they are date time fields so can't have all the restrictions all of the other fields can. I am picturing something like

<cfif field name is not one of the date time fields>

< general remove bad charachters code>

</cfif>

</cfloop

how do i get the field name to use in the condition above?
