Menu dropdown but working on specific pages?

HI,

I have a little issue that I can not find a solution to?

On my trial site; Home Page with Full Page Slider

There is one down menu for services. This menu works fine apart from on the about, services and news pages?

Can anyone suggest why this is not working? I think I have been looking at it for too long?

I'm sure this has been covered, but I must be asking the wrong questions as I can not find a tutorial regarding how to do it.

I just want to save a email template I have made to my clients site?

Process for customising BC site templates

Hi,

I've been looking through BC Gurus which is great, although quite in depth, I should explain I am very new to BC and Web design in general. Whilst looking around the net it suggests it would be quicker to take a BC template and customise for my clients needs.

However, I can not find any decent tutorials for a sensible process for taking a template and customising. I suspect I should be looking to edit the main site CSS file and default template, but is that correct?

In a nutshell, I took the Halftone template, applied to my site, synced with Dreamweaver, now what! I can't even find how to change the logo

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Tutor lead online BC courses

Hi,

I have been trying to find a online course I can follow teaching me the in and outs of BC, but specifically for a dreamweaver users point of view. Taking full advantage of all the features BC has to offer.

Ideally this would be tutor lead and I can attend online.

Im struggling to find anything. I'm aware of Lydna.com, but I find there videos very tedious! Any suggestions would be very welcome.

Adding a Business Catalyst modules to Muse

Hi,

I have been searching without success for a definitive guide to adding modules to my Muse sites, specifically a Blog and News feed. All tutorials I have found thus far require the developer tab which I believe only to be available if you pay for the full webCommerce package. However, webMarketing does include the Blog and News modules. And I am reading that I can achieve this with the webMarketing package.

Can anyone direct me to a comprehensive tutorial on setting these modules up with a webMarketing BC package.

Hi!

I am trying to redirect my domain to my clients site which is hosted on BC.

I had read loads of tutorials which all say;

Select Site Settings > Site Domains and click New Domain.

Thing is, I do not have that option?

Process for Sharpe images

Hi,

I have read through the forums and followed a lot of the suggestions. But I still find images appear out of focus once placed into Muse. My current workflow is creating the image in illustrator (if vector, most of mine are), save for web at right size. Place into Muse. For some unexplained reason, some graphics look great and others look out of focus? Even though I use the same workflow?

Can anyone suggest a solid workflow for rendering vector images for the use in muse.

Integrate my Behance portfolio into my muse site

Hi,

I would like to integrate my Behance portfolio into my muse site, both are Adobe products so it makes sense to me for them to play nicely together. This way I only have to update one portfolio site and then have it filter through to my personal and professionals sites.

I suspect this is not possible as I have been looking everywhere for a solution. Does anyone have a good alternative? I basically just want to upload my work once, and then the portfolio page of website updates. I thought I would be able to achieve this with tumblr, but when you inbed the code, the page shows the full page rather then individual posts.

Hi,

I am not quite sure what I am asking for here, in terms of the right terminology so please bear with me.

The adobe uk page has what I am after, Adobe UK: Creative, marketing and document management solutions. When you press menu on the page, a window pulls down to fill the page offering many other options about their products. I do not want anything as complicated as this, but I would like to recreate the effect. However mine will load on page load.

Can anyone point me in the right direction of how I might be able to create something similar?

Export a SWF from Illustrator CC

Hi,

I am just trying to export a illustration which is in Illustrator CC to a SWF file which my client has requested. This, in theory should be as simple as, File, Export, SWF and Save. However just produces a blank file, although all the info suggest it is indeed a SWF file.

Some suggestions as to where I might be going wrong would be much appreciated.

Second menu for sub pages

Hi,

I have a menu for my top level pages. When I go to my office locations page I would like a second menu for the locations which only appear on these pages.

Locations

Loc 1 - Loc 2 - Loc 3 - Loc 4

I can create a custom menu, but I can not work out how to make the pages link to each other? This may not be the best way to achieve what I am after, so please correct me if this is the case.

Are there any tutorials knocking around I havent spotted yet?

Hi,

A client of mine has come across the following website;

She is mostly interested in recreating the 'we are' section. Lots of diamonds that when rolled over expand to bigger diamond, revealing more information.

Would this be possible in Muse? If so, does anyone know of some good tutorials that would point me in the right direction.

Help with Side Scrolling presentation - complete novice with flash

Hi,

I've played around with Flash, but consider myself a complete novice. My company wants me to create a presentation which has photos laid out horizontally with titles and links leading to documents which are else where on the site. There are about nine photos, and they want clickable arrows which allow the user to scroll to the next couple of images to the right.

I hope that is clear?

Anyway, I need to learn how to go about doing this, does anyone know of a good tutorial which will help me complete the above?

Customers can not see linked creative cloud files?

Hi,

I have been saving files to my Creative Cloud folder and then emailing the link to my customers, I did try the email function, but that just ends up in their junk mail.

However, my customers can not see the linked files? I asked one of them to send a screen shot. This is below;

Any ideas?
