[Photoshop CC 2014] New smart guides slow everything down

I'm using a high-end 15" MacBook Pro Retina Display and it saddens me that I had to turn the new Photoshop CC 2014 smart guides off because when I'm working on huge PSD GUI files they just slow everything down.

Whenever I try to zoom in or out using the keyboard shortcut, I see the spinning wheel of death. I think that happens because most shortcuts are used by pressing the Command key, which is the key that activates the new smart guide feature.

Edge Reflow CC (Preview) does not work with Photoshop CC (2014)

I mean, I'm not sure if that how it is or if I'm facing some sort of compatibility problem with Reflow (version 0.47.17127).

I just can't get it to work with the newest Photoshop CC (2014). It only works on Photoshop CC.
