Lightroom installed but nowhere to be found !!!

Hi ...

I'm a long time user of Lightroom, and presently running a separately purchased copy v. 4 on my MBP 15". It has been very unstable (along with several other apps) since I upgraded from Snow Leopard to Moutain Lion. So, I figured it might be time to upgrade via my CC-subscription. So, I have downloaded through the CC desktop app, installation apparently performed as it should, but the newly installed Lightroom 5 is nowhere to be found.

I have made several other installs via CC desktop, no problems there, until this one. Totally strange. Anybody has a clue to what is wrong here?

Kind regards, Jes

Bevel effect with artifact

I have created a nice typographic logo encapsulated in two underlaying outline shapes, one of them has a bevel effect applied to it. It looks terribly nice, except for one spot on the entire length of the path. The path has no compound in it, and there only good curved anchor point around that area. So I do not understand why Illustrator creates a bugger right there.

Created from ground up in Illustrator CS4, no autotrace used.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a solution to this issue?

Thanks for any feed back

Trouble formatting Dynamic Text

Hi ... I'm having trouble formatting a dynamic text field to
a specific font. I can get the published swf-file to read the font
I specified, but it won't read the html tags like <b> that I
formatted the Unicode text file with.

On top of that, I see several answers searching the subject,
where font embedding is suggested like:
Open your library (F11), and klick "New Font" in the
panelhead.
In the New Font dialog, it is possible to select bold and
italic, but it doesn't affect the succesful reading of the
<b> tag.

Some time ago I read something about using CSS, but it just
said "Use CSS" with no driving direction.

Isn't there a reliable way of formatting dynamic text with
mixed regular/bold face ?!?

I hope somebody can help, cause I really need to get this
done!

Thanx - jj

Dynamic text formatting

Hi ... I have recently been using dynamic text quite
frequently, but it bothers me that browser user settings can
override the font I have specified in the Flash doc. How do I force
a Helvetica all the way through?

I have tried to surch the forum for solutions, but no
satisfactory answers. It is the intention that my client can edit
the text in MS Word.
