Editing layout in one breakpoint adjust all

I have tried all the suggestions, so I don't know what I'm missing. Whenever I edit one of my smaller breakpoints my default breakpoint also adjusts. All elements are nested correctly in the DOM. I click on the name of the breakpoint, the canvas resizes. Overrides to the default style should highlight in purple (breakpoint color) but this is not happening. I have been working on this for two days with no success. Any guidance would be appreciated - except for Check the DOM - did that!

Crawling Text - like movie credits

How can I create crawling text on a slide to appear the way movie credits appear. I tried using various text animations, but it's not really what I'm looking for. I'd like the text to start at the bottom of the slide and move to the top - once again...just like credits at the end of a movie. Any suggestions would be appreciated. (I'm using Captivate 7)

I keep getting the following error when updating a template that contains a DW 8 generated pop-up menu (behaviors)
At line 1654 of file "C:\Program Files\Macromedia/Dreamweaver 8\Configuration\Behaviors\Actions\Show Pop-up Menu.js": The function saveDocument() is currently unavailable.
I read on the MacroMedia site to remove the configuration file and it would be recreated the next time I lauched DW. Tried it and it didn't work.
Any clues?

Samba Shares and Unix

I am working with a client who is running windows XP on user machines. They are using Samba shares on a Unix server. We are getting all sorts of permission errors, connection keys aren't working...its awful. Especially since I recommended using Contribute because it was so easy.
If any one has any tips to share as to what we should be checking on the servers (folders/permissions) that would be very helpful. I'm going to have them check the _mm, _baks and _notes files.
