import mov files into premiere pro cc windows

to import mov files into premiere pro cc 64bit ,windows 8.1 64bit pro do i need Quicktime pro or quicktime alternative ?

i have a vide and i want to sync my audio track manually

well i unlink the video and the audio track

well i cliked on the audio and i started to use alt+left and right keyboard keys

1) my problem

"the audio come before" , so i clicked alt+left

but in this case , should i move the video after ? because can't move the audio before the beginning of the project

i would like to move above the starting of the project , i don't care to trim the audio

2) can i have a time when i move the audio ?

because when i use the short key alt+arrows keys ,can 't have a sfecific time , i mean i would like to know the shift timing

i have an avi video , i want to cut some part of the video

well is there a way to save the video (with the part i want to cut) in "direct stream copy" ?

in short save without rendering it again

for example i use windows 8.1 and virtualdub and avidemux can save the video without re-coding (rendering)

in virtualdub is enough selet direct stream copy for video and audio

and in avidemux is enough to select copy for video and audio

can i do with premiere cs6 or cc ?

well i understood this feature work with some files (codec)

well if i want to use smart render with a supported file ,should i start a new project with the same resolution of the video i want to edit and use smart render?

in short i have

1) check if the codec is sopported by premiere pro smart render

2) check the video resolution & frame rate

3)open a new project with the same resolution and frame rate

4) import in premiere pro cc

it is right?

well can i use amplitude statistics to set markers where there are clipping in the audio

if i'm right , i watched a video showing it could be done

i tried to click on the on the red arrow , but it does set only 1 marker

i install after efects cc trial under w8.1 pro 64bit, and i'm considering to buy the subsc.

may i ask you if i can reset/re-enable all the warnings?

for example i got this warning message missing quicktime

i clicked on ->show warnings ->never again

like the screenshow

so i disabled this warning , i want to re-enable all the warnings without reset preferences

i googled it without luck , nothing in the help and nothing in the preferences

ps should i install other codec besides quicktime ?

after effects warnings me only about quicktime , can i install QuickTime Alternative 3.2.2 ?

i don't like always to update programs

but yesterday i update premiere to version 7.2.2 and adobe media encoder and others , in short i updated everything

well i started to render a video and i noticed that adobe media encoder (during the rendering) did not use all my cpu

in the prev , i used the 90% of my cpu

my cpu it's the last intel 4 core (8 vitual) 4Ghz

but the new verstion uses not more then 50% , don't know how much gpu does it use , can't find a program to monitor under w8.1 pro 64bit

what's wrong?

is there a way (option) to let media encoder to use all my 100% cpu?

is there a way to check how much gpu does it use?

why is so hard to install output module

i did everything Install Adobe Output Module

and when i close bridge and restart it asked me if i want to add the output module , i asnwer yes

i have the outpot workspace ,but when i click on it , nothing ,,,

i tried to delete the files of the output module , re-load brige cc ,close ->re -install the output module

nothing i can't have the output module

why is so hard to let it work ?

why is the refresh rate slower in lab mode?

for example i load an image , rgb , ad an adjustament layer -> curve and i start to play with curve -> the refresh is instantaneous (i mean the image become more dark or lighter instantaneous )

but if i load an image -> conver in lab mode , the refresh rate is slower

i tried cs6 too, same behavior

photoshop opens some jpg files 3 (i have a folder with 60 pics raw and jpg ) and it opens always via camera raw

i don't know why

i did learn how create a saturation mask (a mask that contains the colors)

i found a strange shortcut

i load a 5d mark 2 image , and i zoom in 100%

after i selected the hand tool

i kept the windows key down+left mouse click

it's weird , it display a rectangle and zoom in different place of the image

might you please check it?

in myeventviewer i found C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp pim.db is corrupt

i guess i run AdobeDownloadAssistant.exe , i stopped and i get this files corripted

can i delete it ?

i know that holding ctrl+alt+shift and run photoshop should reset the preferences

and shift+f2 or only shift should ask me to disable yes or not the plugins

but i did notice that holding the crtl and run cs6 , it does perform some action

it doesn't reset preferences or asks to disable or enalbe plugins or select a new folder

but for sure holding Ctrl (in windows) and start photoshop cs6 (in my case 64bit under windows 7 sp1 64) performs an action

might someone tell/explain what does photoshop cs6 when starts holding the key CTRL

i took some photos with a Sigma 12-24mm f/4.5-5.6 EX DG with a canon 5d mark 3 and mark 2

and i noticed some magenta color cast

i tried the color passport check but and create a dng profile , but it doesn't eliminate the color cast

is there a way to remove this magenta color cast?

for years i bought lynda dvd , but they are almost the same

i mean i started to spend lots money from cs2 to cs6 but .. the tutorials discuss the same stuffs

is there a resource (internet or magazine ) to keep update with new skills for photographers?

for example slip frequency , i have never found in the lynda tutorials

seening english is not my native languages , and sometime googling in english is not the best

well i started to use the lasso tool

i know that keeping the shift i can add a selection , alt or alt+shift sustract or intersect

but ctrl??? everytime i stroke ctrl i got the move tool

is it normal?
