Is it possible to use math.random to generate web app item name?

Can math.random() be used to auto fill the name field of a web app item? I have a client that needs web app item submissions to be random and we don't want to ask the user to have to create a name for their submission.

I have a site on which people sign up for classes (events) through a web form. I have set this up using a custom form in which the Amount field is populated using javascript, depending on which class they select from a drop down.

Is there a way to send the client a receipt for the transaction? Would this be done within BC or would it be done within the payment gateway? (Authorize.net, in this case)

Load detail page in usersubmitted web app

I have a user-submitted wish-list web app. I'd like the user to be taken to the detail page of the web app item they've just submitted automiatically, so that they can then easily share the page with whomever they'd like without having to hunt for it.

It there a way to do this?

Yahoo Mail not receiving attachments from Workflow Notifications

One of my clients uses Yahoo Mail and receives Workflow Notifications on their Yahoo Mail address. For some reason, file attachments are being removed within the Workflow Notification. I set up my own Yahoo Mail account and have the exact same issue.

Another issue is that the "view this item" link doesn't work at all within Yahoo Mail. However, the "mailto" link does work.

Has anybody else experienced issues with Yahoo Mail?

What is the best way to handle canonical links?

I am migrating a client website over to BC and I've noticed they have canonical links in most, if not all of the HEAD sections for each page.

How should I go about maintaining these canonical links in BC .... since the HEAD section resides in the template?
