Flash Remoting not working in CF 10

We've been using Flash Remoting for years and now, while testing CF 10 on a development server, find that it no longer works.

In particular, I get a 404 error when trying to access https://{ip address}/flashservices/gateway.

I've already confirmed that remoting is enabled in the Administrator and followed the steps given in the documentation (http://help.adobe.com/en_US/ColdFusion/10.0/Installing/WSc3ff6d0ea77859461172e0811cdec1896 9-7ffa.html).

Any advice?

cfchart bar width

I have a design that features multiple bar charts of equal height, but varying numbers of bars in each chart, stacked vertically on a page.

I would like to use CFChart, but I noticed that the width of the bars resize to fill the chart. The problem is that charts with fewer bars have wider bars than those with more bars, which doesn't match the design I'm given. (I also have no control over their spacing.)

Is there a way to control this? or must I resort to a third-party package?

remoting and session timeout

We use Flash and an AJAX library (viz. ajaxCFC) to make remote calls from the client to the server in a number of locations in our site. These remote calls are to CFC webservices, which share in the application's session variables, such that a call will fail (or redirect the user to the login page) if the session has ended due to user inactivity (i.e. after 20 min.).

The problem here is that clients are complaining that they're sessions are ending, despite activity within the past 20 min. Apparently, ColdFusion doesn't register remote calls as "activity." Only a standard browser request (e.g. clicking on a link) registers as activity.

This seems odd to me, since I know that (prior to the session timeout) the remote calls have access to session variables. (If they didn't, then the response would fail or include invalid data.)

Help?

WSDL enumerations

I'm trying to use CFMX7's native webservice support (i.e. Axis 1.2.1/WSDL2Java) to pass an enumerated value to a web method whose signature includes an argument of simpleType whose domain of values is restricted. (On the webservice side, this translates into a C#.NET Enum.)

Here's a mock-up of the WSDL schema:

I can't seem to come up with a CFML input that will work. (Usually, some form of struct does the trick.)

Any suggestions?
