Touchmove to Drag Object Fails

I cannot find a working example of the touchmove trigger anywhere in these forums (or on the Internet).

Anyone who is successful in dragging an object with touch does so by injecting custom init() handlers into a Stage action upon creationComplete. But I can't find anyone who has used Edge Animate's built-in touchmove trigger on an object.

This code works perfectly for click-and-drag:

mouseover

// insert code to be run when the mouse hovers over the object

sym.$("myobject").draggable({opacity:0.50 , revert:"invalid"});

However, this code does nothing in a touch interface for me:

touchmove

// insert code to be run when a user drags an object (for touch devices only)

sym.$("myobject").draggable({opacity:0.50 , revert:"invalid"});

Can anyone point me to a working example of an action triggered by touchmove on an object in Edge Animate?

Adobe Digital Editions Distorts EPUB

The same EPUB exported from InDesign appears excellent in iBooks, but it is distorted in Adobe Digital Editions. In ADE, all text is displayed at a point size of 300. This is with Adobe CC (2014) on a Mac Pro running 10.9.4. Why would an EPUB preview fine in InDesign but look really terrible in Adobe Digital Editions?

Automate Normalize Effect

Since the Normalize function is not available with the Effects Rack, is there some other way I can create a single preset with a sequence of (1) EQ, (2) Normalize to -4 db, and (3) Multiband Compressor all in one step?

Edge composition prevents Firefox from completing load

Publish a composition with a movie package containing an mp4 and an ogv.

Open in Firefox. The site loads fine.

On the desktop (outside of Edge Animate), remove the ogv movie from the media folder.

Open in Firefox. The preloader hangs, never handing off to the composition.

Return the ogv to the media folder.

Open in Firefox. The site loads fine.

Firefox should gracefully load the site even though it might not be able to play the ogv movie.

However, it appears that the composition is telling Firefox that a file is present when it is not.

Is there a workaround for this?

Scaling Your Stage for Retina Screen

Set the stage for your composition to the dimensions of a retina screen on iPhone 5: 640x1136.

When displayed on an iPhone 5, only the upper left corner of the stage will appear. In other words, it will be zoomed in at 2x.

The solution for static images on retina displays is to provide two versions of every image:

myimage.png
myimage@2x.png

…and the system will use the higher-dimension version.

But how do I declare that the Edge stage should be hi-res on the retina screen?

WMF to Illustrator Lossy?

Is there any reason I should not convert my entire collection of WMF files to AI files, then discard the old WMFs?

I open a WMF in Illustrator, then Save As… an Illustrator file.

Is there any information lost in that process?

Skew with Perspective

Is there any way to distort a rectangle with perspective?

Edge Animate will "skew"only orthographically.

What I'm after is a perspective distortion.

Or is this something that must be done in custom JavaScript?

WAV files play back too fast

When I choose File->Open to open an AIFF, MP3 or other file in Audition CS6, it simply plays back at normal speed. However, when I open a WAV file, it plays back at double speed (voices become high-pitched). NOTE: The sample rate (44.1) and bit size settings match exactly. This is not a sample rate issue. The frame rate is NOT set to custom.

This happens only to WAV files. The platform Mac OS X 10.8.3. Any ideas?
