Does anyone know if it is possible to create an attachment and add it to an order workflow notification (on the fly)?

Business Catalyst extension not working since upgrade

I have installed the CC 2014.1 upgrade and now can't get my BC extension too work.

I click on Site->Manage Sites->Import Business Catalyst Site to add a BC site to DW and a dialog comes up saying BC is available as an add-on.

That then takes me to the Adobe Add-ons page which says it is already installed. If I go to Windows->Extensions it says there are no extensions available.

If I go to the Business Catalyst window in DW it shows a video link and a button that says 'Get Started' which does nothing.

What has happened?

File attachments on orders

I would like to build an xml file from an order and attach it to that order in the CRM.

Just putting a few feelers out to see if it is worth pursuing. Does anyone know if this is possible?

I am trying to import a BC site in the new version of Dreamweaver. All I get is a dialog box telling me that I need to install the extension, which is already installed.

The Business Catalyst window just shows a link to a video and a 'Get Started' button which does nothing when I click it.

Automatic file upload can't be turned off

I have upgraded to DW CC 2014.1

Now I can't turn off the Automatic file upload on save. Every time I save a file it uploads.

I have unchecked the 'Automatically upload files to server on save' box in the Server setup but it still does it.

Completely messes up my workflow.

Connecting Products to a web app

I'm trying to connect products in a site I'm doing to a webapp to give me the flexibility I need with product info. I've managed to do this by adding the product ID as a web app field, but with 800+ products it's obviously a nightmare to manage, as each web app item needs to have its corresponding product ID added manually, and the client has specifically asked for a solution that's easy to manage.

I haven't had a lot of experience with building Open Platform apps yet but I imagine that this is the way to go.

Has anybody tried this and come up with a workable solution?

Is it possible to use a web app id in the url?

I'm using web app items as part of an ajax call, so I would like to use the web app item id as part of a url to retrieve the detail page. Is this possible?

Tag attributes in the BC editor

A useful tip when using the BC editor.

The editor doesn't like shorthand when adding attributes to tags. I have been adding some HTML5 Video tags to a site and adding an 'autoplay' attribute.

I work with Dreamweaver and upload the pages with FTP, so when I have a video tag like:

and upload it, everything works fine.

Then someone edits the page using the BC editor. It sees the 'autoplay' attribute as an error, presumably because I haven't assigned a value to it, and helpfully removes it. Video doesn't autoplay any more.

I would assume (I haven't tested it yet) that this happens with other tags that don't require a value e.g. 'checked' in the input tag.

Beware of this because you won't see it until the page is saved with the BC editor.

Can anyone suggest a way that I could have visitors subscribe to a mailing list and have the total number of visitors display on a web page?

CC Apps not showing as installed.

I have installed (nearly) all of the available CC apps, but only a few are showing up as installed. How can I make all of the installed apps show up under "My Apps" instead of "Find New Apps"?

Folder sharing?

When are we going to be able to share folders in Creative Cloud? This feature has been promised for a while but so far nothing.

Unfortunately, not having the ability to share folders makes the system next to useless for anything but online storage.

Fallback stylesheets for IE6

I am trying to implement a fallback stylesheet for IE6 using conditional comments.

My head code is as follows:

<!--[if lte IE 6]>

<![endif]-->

This uses ie6.css for IE6, and excludes global.css from ie6.

Unfortunately BC rewrites the code in the head and takes global.css out of the conditional comments, which means ie6 reads it, which is not what I want. How do I make BC behave?
