CF9 on OS X Lion?

I cannot find anything on this on the net so far, it looks like nobody tested it out officially.

If anyone has upgraded to 10.7, can you please let us know what issues you had with ColdFusion 9 running on it?

No extensions work at all, why?

I have a CF multiserver setup with CF7, CF8, and CF9 all running on JRun. I have CFBuilder installed as plugins to a clean version of Eclipse 3.5 64-bit for OS X. I installed the basic extensions to map to the CF9 server. I also installed a couple from RIAforge, including the CFProperty Inspector.

However, none of these extensions are creating the files they are supposed to. An example is the CFC Generator. I open an RDS (any of the three) and select a database table. I click to generate the CFC (or the ORM CFC just for kicks), select a directory in any of my projects, and the files are never written out.

This is driving me crazy, especially since when I used this at the Chicago Flex training last week, it worked fine.

Anybody have a clue why this is happening?

Cannot install CF8 on Snow Leopard

I cannot get the CF8 64-bit installer to run on Snow Leopard. It never initializes. Does anyone have any ideas how to get this fixed so I can have CF8 Developer Edition running again? I did not have this problem when I had Leopard, but when CF8 would not run after the upgrade to Snow Leopard I decided to uninstall CF8 and start over.

I see tips for fixing CF8 on Snow Leopard, but they are all for JRun instances and I had standalone going so I figured the easiest way would be to start clean.

Report Builder 8 and MX7?

Does anyone know if you can generate reports using Report
Builder 8 and have them work in CFMX 7? There are times when I'll
need to work in MX7 still and would rather not have to make two
copies of a report to work in the different environments. Also
Report Builder 8 seems so much more stable than Report Builder
7.

Report Builder truncating data

I have inherited an application that has uses Java and CFR's
(built with CF report builder 7) to create PDF files. On one of the
reports is a field that an essay goes into. This essay can be up to
10,800 characters long. That length is being controlled on the
server side before it gets saved to the database.

The problem I am trying to address is that when people write
more than 7900 or so characters, their essays are getting cut off.
In the database, the field type is text. On other CFM pages where
this essay is shown, all the text shows up without a problem. So
the data is being stored correctly.

I have little experience using report builder, so I'm flying
blind here. I have done a lot of Googling for this, and found a few
other people that had the same problems. But nobody had a solution
posted. I have tried changing the Stretch with Overflow setting (it
was fasle originally) and that did nothing. And I cannot see
anything else that could change matters.

Somebody, please help?
