How to turn off the Stretch Alignment feature?

Hi, I am just learning how to use the text formatting options and have been experimenting but for some reason any new text box I create now and type something, the Stretch Alignment is on and stretching everything I type. How do I turn that off?

I have been working long and hard on web pages and all of the sudden today I can only view my pages in live view. Do I need to check or uncheck a feature somewhere to get my design view to open up? Please help!

Unwanted image conversion happens in .pdf

Hi, when I convert a word .docx to a .pdf file, the image I inserted in Word duplicates multiple times within the same .jpg area. How do I prevent this happening to my image? I greatly appreciate any assistance!

Why Live View is not working?

Table columns_make all widths consistent

I am trying to make all my cells uniform in a table and thought that the contextual menu underneath the table goves the option, "make all widths consistent".

It does not seem to to anything. I thought it would auto write this into the code and absolutely nothin happens. What do you have to do to use this feature?

Horizontal scroll bar vanished in CS5

Hi, I am learning the CS5 program and out of nowhere my horizontal scroll bar has disappeared. I notice that when I magnify from 100 to 150% then the scroll bar appears again, but I don't want to read my pages at 150%. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

Is there a way to enter a title for a menu on two lines in a horizontal popup?

My popup menu is too long because there sdoes not seem to be a way to adjust individual cell widths. All the menus conform to the largest-widest text.

Is there a way to line break into two lines or adjust some of the menu widths?

Hi, I have set up a horizontal popup menu which is too long. I want to adjust the width of individual cells that don't have long text, but the program just takes the widest text and creates all the cells the same width. Is there a way to place a title on two lines so it doesn't take up so much room?

I am just learning Fireworks cs3 with a tutorial which is now requiring that I use Adobe Flash CS3 Professional. Being a beginner I am not certain if this is an extension download or do I have to purchase a program. There does not seem to be phone support-they just directed me to this forum. I realize that this is an older version. Am I just supposed to download Extension Manager 1.8 for Windows? I have Vista Windows. I am confused between software programs and extensions.

Here are the directions I used and is not working. I opened 2 images in Fireworks cs3. I used the oval marquee tool and selected an area that I want to merge into the second image. I went to to Edit/Copy. Opened the second image that I want this area to merge into. Edit/Paste as Mask. I get a small oval faded image and the rest of my image vanished.

Hi, I have spent a couple months creating a website and checking all the pages on the preview browser and all the pages looked great. I finally put all the files to the server and online and the formatting is messed up on portions of every page. Yet when I check these pages again in the preview browser they look perfect. Please help!

Hi, I just had a tech guy to my house helping me with dreamweaver and when he left my program is working differently. It did not automatically put files when I previewed them. Now I can't preview anything without it putting the file to the server. I created a contact form as a php file. Could that have anything to do with this change? I appreciate your assistance!

Need to remove scroll bars

I created a heading in a div and nested a 2 column 2 row header. In the left cell I inserted and image and in the right cell I inserted text. I did not create the scroll bars that showed up. I viewed them in the Firefox and IE browser. I then went to my split code to see if I could see some type of code for the scrollbars that I could delete, bit I don't see any. I am just leearning this program for the first time and am a beginner a HTML code also. I will attempt to insert the screen shot of the split code. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Why External folder & files don't show in the Files panel?

I believe I have properly saved my first external style sheet to my root folder. First I defined a class and under Rule Definition and I chose New Style Sheet. When the "Save Style Sheet File As box came up I gave it a general name external_styles.css and saved it in the Work files, Save. Next, I defined the CSS Rule for the class and chose the options. Last, I save the page as an .htm file to the Work File and it does'nt show up in the Files panel. I also tried saving the page as an .htm to the root folder and it still won't show up in the files pane.

I am having trouble understanding the file structures. I would appreciate any help in explaining how to save the first external style sheet so it shows up in the file panel, otherwise I understand that I can't edit them or put them to the remote site.

I have four divs and have entered content into a few. Now I want to draw an additional AP div under the left navigation div container and I can't seem to activate the Draw AP Div.. I see a blank space under the navigation div that I want to insert a picture. Any help is greatly appreciated!
