How do you retrieve the "pick an actions" panel? i lost this when i upgraded to cc2014. it is missing even from old projects of mine. i already tried window, workspace, both reset & new workspace. Any other ideas. i did not uninstall & reinstall yet. Thanks

Greensock SplitText inside of Edge Animate solution?

I have tried the following code:

The first two lines work by themselves & after adding the rest. The other lines do not work & they do not work after I remarked out the first 2 lines. I placed these all in a trigger at 0 (zero) on the timeline - this has worked for me in the past. I have other Edge Animate elements that do stuff and I have a trigger at the end of the animation that plays from 01 (just past zero) - I have found that looping and retriggering the first two lines of code stops its animation. "quote" is the name of an Edge Animate text element. In the code above I changed "#quote" to "equote", other than that, I think this is Greesock's standard code.

I may be missing this css class or the translate3d command:

issue with preloading audio & responsive scaling

2 things that I have noted with the new 3.0 version of Edge Animate:

1. Preloading audio caused my page never to load when using mp3 & ogg files. After turning off this stage option the page loaded fine. Also noted on my mobile android device when using the preloading option (where preloading isn't allowed) the same page - that gave my pc fits - loaded okay further convincing me that there is some issue I can easily avoid by not preloading audio.

2. When using the scaling option & centering the stage when maximizing the screen the original fonts became grainy - I must not have made my original stage large enough so type is being scaled up - I used Pinyon Script & Verdana which both came with Edge Animate. I had used the stage default size of 550 x 400 pixels. my pc's screen resolution is set at 1600 x 900. my mobile device looks fine, its screen resolution is 1280 x 720 hd.

To Adobe Support, Is video going to be added like audio was, other wise I will just use edgehero so I can get After Effects effects to work.

In Sara Hunt's video she references a Greensock Animation that she used, Could she please post her example somewhere or otherwise tell me where it is downloadable from? I would be very interested in how she got the Greensock script to stop & restart inside Edge Animate - something I could not get to work previously. Thank you.

Please help me out and visit http://www.animatedhtml.com/lightning/lightning.html and let me know if this video banner ad works for you. The default - lightning.html - autoplays & loops and is designed for PCs using mp4 After Effects created video and inserted into an Edge Animate container. I hacked the page adding this code for mobile users:

This second page contains controls and no autoplay no loop since they are not supported.

It works on my droid smartphone but I have had reports it does not work on a Samsung (SAMSUNG-SGH-I717) phone. I was wondering how many phones this hack does not work on and if I can tweak this somehow to make it work. I am also looking into using the javascript or server side material available at http://www.hand-interactive.com/detect/mobileesp_demo_javascript.htm which appears to be last updated on June/July 2011.

My objective is to give the best possible experience to PC users and to support mobile users too.

The banner is clickable in some areas to transfer the user to adobe.com and in the rest of area you can right click and have the option to pause the video etc.

Suggestions are welcome and definitely needed. Warning: this ad contains sound - thunder borrowed from NOAA site.

I have edited the edge animate files so that the html file calls the .js files and images from other sites. Does anyone have a suggestion or solution? Thanks

Is there a simpler solution/directory/file structure for banner ads?

I also have to wonder what a pain this has to be for a large website with many rotating banner ads - having all of these same files copied over and over in separate subdirectories. Flash had 2 files - a html file and swf file stored in the same directory. Am I missing something?

the banner name - with config.xml - created by Dreamweaver

Assets - 4 or 5 files, not counting json or sound files

edge_includes - and its 2 files

images - at least they are unique

And I, maybe wrongly, create a html file in Dreamweaver with the oam file inserted in it.

Is there a way to include a html title, meta description & keywords inside edge animate?

How do you include a title so when a user adds the html page in their favorites it is something other than untitled. include keywords and description for search engines. Right now I have to load the finished project files in Dreamweaver to insert this info. Thanks
