Training for Ink & Slide

I'd like to start a community discussion regarding formal training for Ink & Slide and related Adobe technologies.

As an Adobe training partner, I see a potentially huge need for training for this product as it has the possibility of greatly altering workflows in sometimes dramatic ways.

Some of the things I'd like to discuss in this thread are:

Developing an outline for a class. What sort of things should be covered in an Ink & Slide oriented hands-on training class?
Recruiting contract instructors. - We do have a web site for applying to teach for us as a contract instructor at Sterling Ledet & Associates, Inc. Contract Adobe Trainer - Ink, Slide and Mobile Apps
Instructor resources - Of course Adobe has video tutorials, but what other resources more suited to formal classroom training are available and/or in the works.
Level of interest - Am I just too early with this? Is there significant interest in formal training for this product line?

Any other topics related to training on Ink & Slide are also welcome.

Are PDF User Manuals / User Guides available for CC 2014 release?

While Adobe quit making printed user guides available for purchase for their software some time ago (AFAIK). previous versions did have a PDF available that you could download.

I can't find them for the 2014 Creative Cloud release though.

Does anyone know with authority whether or not they exist, and if not are planned, and if they are available where they are?

Knowlegetree OpenCMIS and Drive 2.1?

I have a default install of Knowledgetree that I am testing as a proof of concept for Drive.

results in

I think this is the correct url to point to under Server URL in Drive when I click CMIS right? From what I can tell it at least seems to reply to the webservice request.

However, when I check Connect I get Connecting then Authentication failed.

Has anyone successfully gotten Drive 2.1 working with Knowledgetree 3.7 Community Edition?

Text fields are offset in Safari & Preview on Macintosh

When designing in LiveCycle Designer ES 2, default text forms appear fine in preview and in Acrobat 9 and X on both Mac and Windows.

However, on Macs, if the form is open in Safari, or if it is open in Apple's Preview application, the fields are offset so it appears the form is designed improperly.

The image below demonstrates what I mean. The font being used is Myriad Pro.

Does anyone know what is causing this or how to fix it? (Don't use Safari is not an acceptable answer, as the form is for public consumption on the internet. See http://www.ledet.com/enroll)

My name is Sterling Ledet. I run a chain of Adobe Ceritifed training centers across the United States.

Under Macromedia, we did a lot of Director training, but over the years, that part of our business pretty much dried up. My current staff hasn't worked with Director in a couple of years, so we are looking to develop relationships with other experienced independent contractors to help us handle our increasing frequency of Director 11 training engagements.

Forms going read-only in Workbench

Has anyone else had a problem with forms going read-only unexpectedly in Workbench ES? With no one else logged-in to the server, I'm experiencing intermittent errors where the current form I am working on suddenly thinks it is a read-only document and refuses to allow me to save it back into the repository.

Any suggestions as to how to resolve this would be appreciated.
