Is it possible to purchase gift certificate through online store

I want to be able to have customers purchase a gift certificate from the online store. Is this possible. I know you can as the admin but can a customer go to my shop an buy one? Or do i need to add as individual products and have them but them and we send out a certificate?

I have a secure zone but when the user navigates outside of it and the go back to it they are forced to log back in, how do i stop this from happening.

I have a client I have had an email template for the past 5 months. They have been sending weekly emails using this template and the new editing. They went to send today and the template is broken, it says there is no ICE editable areas which there is, this template has been used for 5 months not a problem no it is. Has Adobe changed anything????

I have products that may have 4+ variations and each have different price.I would like to have the price dynamically change without having to add to cart.

Example.

Item Cost $1000

Size lge $200

Color: Green $10

The total Price $1210 calculates as each variation is selected from the drop down.

How accurate are the BC analytics. I have seen post in thpast discussing this. Im looking at both Google and BC stats and wow they are so different in numbers. Im talking in the last week. Google says 10 unique visits and BC says 349. mmmmmmm Not to sure here who to believe.

Can someone shed light on this as the stats a hugely varied. If BC are inaccurate can we hide from clients? Makes the system look flawed when they are getting there own Google stats saying other wise. Even if the where close that would be good.

Any insight?

Future enhancement-Send Campaign immediately

A future enhancement for the email campaingns is the option to send now, not have to go through the BS time scheduler to pick a time today and it dosent get sent.

If I or a client want to send an campaign now why not have that option. Come on Adobe...

ecommerce attribute question

i have a site with stock in different sizes and colors. i need to be able to add product that i can use the attributes with eg

Tshirt name: XL blue 10 instock

Tshirt name: Lge Black 7 instock

Tshirt name: Sm Green 0 instock

So basically on a selected product if you choose blue Xl it say 10 instock and like wise for Lge Black and if Green sold out

At the moment i have only inventory on the size but i need it to be size and color, is there a solution?

Admin Console takes forever to save

Hi has anyone else had the issue of the admin console taking ages to save page or web apps etc, bloody annoying. Has only been happening for the last two weeks.

New Content Editor

I have finally got my head around the new editor, but one question i keep getting asked, "Why cant I add an image to a new page via the new editor."

I have looked an tried but can not seem to add new images, you can replace excisting but as content evolves people want to be able to change move images.

Example a client creates a new page, adds their text then thinks, maybe an image should go there, but how??

Can this only be done in the admin not the new editor??

I'm looking at setting up a second shop within BC to show and sell to my wholesale clients, I currently have a public shop works fine but I also have wholesale customers which I want to show stock levels and have them invoiced from within BC in a separate shop only viewable to them not the public.

An idea for the BC team with outages, why not have the issues appear in the admin backend as either a notification or in the Whats new, as i see this never gets used..

would be easier to see when logged in as not everyone checks twitter ot the BC status page.

InContext editing question

I have a template that's has a main content area and a right side bar. I have added the incontext tag and the tag_pagecontent to both content areas. This kind of works except editing the page with this template attached actually edits the content in the right column and save it to the template the the current page.

The main content area works as it should.

I couldnt get the repeating region to work either.

Can anyone please give advise.

I have a flex slider on my site, i have created the web to display, with 4 image fields(see code below) what im stuck on is if i only upload 2 images i dont want the other two image placeholders to display on image 1 and 2. i have successfully created this as the home page slider, but as this catergory has ten individual catergories that web app wont work. Hi, i am trying to have the gatergory images and title appear as the first page of the shop, then select your catergory then list all products in a 3 wide column.

i have the css and html done, not sure on the correct tag, as the tag {module_productlistdump} just displays the text link. see image thats how i want it to display

I am setting up the online store, i am adding products, can this system add quantity to a product that has different sizes.

Example. Im adding a tshirt I have 3 small, 2 large and 4Xlarge. how do i set this up? I cannot see in the attribute guide anything about this. Then if the small sells out i need that not to be ordered until stock has been reordered.

I have added my html into my blog added what i think are the correct tags all HTML elements appear so do most of the dydnamic element. below is the markup, also thecss syling around the this doesnt appear either but does for the rest of the page. I have altered the module templatesto suit, if i add the HTML with out the BC tags all works fine, any ideas/suggestions would be great
