Certification Choices

I'm creating a quiz that will have 2 different types of people taking them. Each type of person will have their own type of certificate of completion. Is it possible to allow the user to select the type of certificate they want once a test is completed and they pass?

Using Flash to Create iPhone App

I would like to use flash to create an app for the iPhone/iPad. But, I need to send and retrieve data from a mySql database. Is it possible do this with Flash? If so, can you point me in the right direction on where to find details (or examples) of how to do this please?

Applescript in Leopard

Good Afternoon All!

I'm trying to use the fscommand in a flash projector file. Before Leopard came along I used the code below to launch pdf files. Now that I have Leopard installed I get an error box stating that the classic code is no longer supported. Can anyone help me with some new code to launch pdfs in the mac environment please?

Cue Points

I have a quicktime clip that I using in Flash 8 encoder. I enter 4 cue points through out the clip. They correspond to a fade up from black. I then encode the clip and playback in my Flash 8 movie. During playback, the cuePoints that I embeded have slipped by as much as a few seconds. Is this normal?

Afternoon all:

I have an FLV with cue points embedded. One of the cue points is entitled "emai". I need to have a movie clip fade on screen at the point the cue point is reached. I also have 4 other buttons that allow the user to skip around in the video.

Here is the action script I have thus far:

videoEvents.target = this;
videoEvents.cuePoint = function(evt:Object):Void {
var button = this.target[evt.info.name+"_btn"];
if (button != undefined) {
button.select();
}
};
display.addEventListener("cuePoint", videoEvents);

What do I need to add to this to trigger my email movie clip to be shown?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
