Keep footer in place, load pages above footer independently. Frames?

Hello everyone! I am building a website in Muse, with an animated navigation bar I've made in Edge Animate.

The links in the navigation bar animate when clicked to just my logo, the title of the specific page, and a menu back button.

Because this animates, I need to leave the navigation (which is in the footer of the webpage) to stay untouched when a link is clicked. I do not want the entire webpage to load, thus stopping the nav animation.

See this example of the area I want my pages to load (in blue), and in red, the nav, I want to always be there.

I remember from years past, this was achieved with "frames" in Dreamweaver.
Reverse Playback needs to stop where a playback trigger exists... starts playback again instead of stopping...

So, I have an animation play, and when it finished a button appears. A click of that button reverses the timeline to start it off where it begins. The problem is that where it begins is a playback trigger. There is no way (that I know of) to stop the reverse playback at the start without hitting the playback trigger. I can't for the life of me figure out how to deal with this. Any help would be great!
HELP! Adding Jquery to Muse!

The problem is how do I get it to work in Muse? There is more than just the HTML file with it - it has several .JS files too in other folders. Using the Insert > HTML feature in Muse doesn't work - it just shows a broken image link.

I need step by step help with this one!

PS - here are the files associated with the plugin:

Using your own web fonts and not TypeKit's

Hey Adobe!

I must say first off, Muse has single-handedly changed the way I deal with web design. I now can build and deploy great websites easily on my own with little or no coding experience. This is invaluable to me. Muse has been a game changer for me and it's been one of the best pieces of software I've used in many many years. So thank you for giving designers tools to be technical without actually being technical!

On to my feature request:

As a graphic designer, I have a discerning taste for typography. I own many of my own web fonts. I understand TypeKit has many typefaces available, but none of them suffice. It is not acceptable to have to settle for a substitute typeface.

Adobe Muse NEEDS to have a feature for those designers who own their own web fonts so they can design and build webpages with their typeface of choice. I understand Adobe must want customers to go for TypeKit's selection, and I am positive most users will use that option. However, for users like me, who focus on every single detail - like typefaces, this is a crucial element missing. Because of the lack of this feature I am back at square one not being able to find any software out there that is 1, easy to use, 2, purely design based, and 3, allows you to use your own web fonts.

I know Dreamweaver and many other WYSIWYG editors out there allow me to customize anything I wish to including the @font-face rule, but again, I am a designer - my brain doesn't think in code. This is why Muse is the only option for me.

So, Adobe, I know you care deeply about you software, and your customers as well. I am positive you will take this feature request seriously. I am not alone in wanting this feature added. Many people on these Muse forums ask about this feature as well. I am asking kindly, begging kindly, and pleading kindly that you consider discussing this feautre with your team. It would mean a great deal if you could reply back so we can have an open discussion about this. I too care about the success about Muse - I am passionate about it.

Thanks very much for your time and consideration.

Dustin

TypeKit's FULL Library in Muse or YOUR OWN WEB FONT - the upset still lives on.

After over a year of complaining about the very crucial missing functionality of Adobe's TypeKit, still nothing has been addressed. The problem: allowing TypeKit's FULL library being used across all Adobe apps - especially Muse. I debated long and hard whether or not to fork over the money for a CC subscription. I did, now I am wondering why Adobe fails to inform you of these crucial flaws in it's software before you buy.

To say I am beyond upset is an understatement. To be quite frank, I don't think I've ever felt so upset over the lack of response from a company before. It is very clear Adobe wants to play font police, instead of allow things to work the way everyone wants them to.

Designers do not substitute. Period. End of. The typeface is an essential part of one's brand. I cannot and should never have to compromise on design just because "font licensing can be difficult". If you can't allow TypeKit's full library to be used in Muse, you should allow for one's own implementation of your own licensed and purchased webfont to be used. Stop acting as the font police.

As I have said in my many past and previous posts on the forums, Adobe Muse is really awesome software, but things like this make all of those great strides in software absolutely useless. DESIGNERS use Adobe software. Cater to needs of designers.

I am at a loss for words over this. I feel lied to, I feel ripped off, and I feel discouraged. If the industry had more competition with software alternatives, I think I'd jump ship.

Adobe, as a paying customer who cares about Muse being a TRUE success, please listen. I am not just one voice. I am the voice of many many other users who are demanding the same functionality I am asking for. Yes Muse Themes has a paid fix for this, BUT I should not have to pay for any third party add-ons for something that should already be there. Please do not reply if you are going to be vague about where this issue stands on your plans for Muse. Be specific.

IF you care about your customers, you will find someone who cares to help me out.
Illustrator CC 64 bit crashes after a few seconds of being open (Win 8.1 64bit)

After following all related issues of others online, nothing has worked to solved this mystery.

Ai CC 64bit crashes after a few seconds of being open. I am running Win 8.1 64bit. All other Adobe CC apps work. I have installed and re-installed countless times, no help.

I am 100% convinced that Illustrator CC is 100% incompatible with Windows 8.1. Even the Microsoft compatibility page has 100% votes for incompatible yet it states it is compatible.

Adobe, if you care about paying customers, please fix this. I am coming from OS X and everything was flawless.

Need WORKAROUND to Muse Contact Forms WITHOUT Business Catalyst

So I'm working on a very simple website in Muse. I have one simple contact form. I just purchased a subscription to Muse. I now discover that the site has to be hosted with BC for forms to work.... SERIOUSLY?

Name, Email, Phone, Comments...... SEND ...... warrants this kind of agro to change my hosting and manage the site on this horribly complex thing called Business Catalyst? No chance! Not gonna happen.

Adobe, you have to start giving users the ability to have FULL customizablility of their websites. STOP forcing us to use every feature in the Adobe ecosystem. You are being a lot like Apple that way.

So, I am asking all of you kind web-building savvy people to help me out.

Before suggesting an alternative like JotForm and the lot of the others, I have no interest in them. I prefer Muse's forms for the editing of the states.

Is it possible that once I have finished using muse to build my website, and once i have uploaded the site files to my hosting provider, to then edit the html portion of the form submit to utilize the mailto?

Again, I do not have interest in the other form alternatives. They are sub-par design wise. I do not want to change anything about my hosting to migrate to BC.

If anyone has that specific solution or possible workaround, I'd be forever greatful!
