Exporting from Flash to Illustrator

I upgraded from Flash CS3 to CS5. I am surprised to find I cannot export Flash graphics to a ".ai" format.

Does anyone know of a way in CS5 to get Flash vectors to Illustrator?

I have installed CS5 on a macbook pro 10.9.4. I am unable to get the updater to run to update applications to most current version. It tells me there was an error trying to download the update and to try again later.

I operate a lab of 40 new imacs OS 10.8.5. I am getting this on multiple machines, in at least one instance it has occurred twice on the same machine. I do the uninstall and reinstall each time this occurs.

Eyedropper sampling from Brush

Working on a Macbook. PS CS5. When I am painting using the brush tool I press the option key to switch to the eyedropper temporarily to sample a color. It samples the color but makes it the background color. I have to go swap colors to paint in the color I sampled.

CS5 3d file Import

My students and I have been importing files form thr google 3d warehouse from Photoshop for some time. Something is different with CS5 though. Some of the collada file downloads that we downloaded do not display properly. If I set the rendering to wireframe I can see that they are there but otherwise only certain parts of the model are visible.

These files are the .dae extension.

Hope this makes sense.

My students and I enjoyed importing .mov files and tracing over them as we would embed them in the timeline in flash CS3. This year we upgraded to CS5 and I am finding that we cannot import the .mov files.

Does anyone have a solution for a pipeline like this. Flash seems to want us to convert the files to .flv or something.

I want them to play in a single window but use clickable links to switch between .mov files. I am working in DW CS5.

For some reason when I publish a project in Flash CS3 a file called "AC_RunActiveContent.js" is generated along with my .swf and .html files.

Is it because I am continuing to work with AS2 in CS3?

I want to manage two remote sites from a local site I created. I cannot seem to figure out how to create any more than one remote site. Seems like it should allow me to upload to more than one location.
