      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:ada33ae2-44e6-45b9-8645-13c53cacf8ee] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;Having just run into the case of moving to a new computer, I have run into the problem that although the catalog can be backed up and restored, the Syncdb is ignored.&amp;nbsp; The SYNCDB is a subdirectory of the Catalog directory.&amp;nbsp; In my case with the My Catalog default it is sub directory of that directory.&amp;nbsp; On vista \ProgramData\Adobe\Photoshop Elementes\Catalogs\My Catalog.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In my case after restoring to the new computer it started a sync cycle and than started uploading new copies of every single photo.&amp;nbsp; Did about 100 photos (with&amp;nbsp; 5000 or so to go) when I checked and found it was doing this.&amp;nbsp; I had to kill the sync, move over the Syncdb from the old computer, and start sync again.&amp;nbsp; A now have 100 or so extra photos in photoshop.com to try and find and delete.&amp;nbsp; At leaset thats better than doubling the space used on photoshop.com.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Obviously,&amp;nbsp; the restore option also needs to support choices on whether to restore the catalog, the syncdb or both.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:ada33ae2-44e6-45b9-8645-13c53cacf8ee] --&gt;</description>
