photoshop cc: is it worth paying monthly for CC if I already own CS6?

I am a keen amateur..I have CS6 and a trial version of Photoshop CC..Before this trial concludes can anyone honestly tell me whether it is worth paying the annual sub. for C.C. I really can see very little difference between the two and as I also have Lightroom I am wondering if it is worth it.

Two problems which seem to have happened simultaneously.. On start up I am getting the message Photoshop system error...msucp110.dll and the start takes ages.I think it may be to do with the Nic software plug in that I have, although I have never had this problem before..Also I seem unable to access any on line help from the Help tag at the top of the screen. I have had to come out of Photoshop and move onto the web to access this help from the main Adobe site.

where are my region sliders on my tone curve adjustments panel

I have Lightroom 3.3. According to the tutorials and books I have there should be 4 region sliders directly underneath the tone curve. I don't have these sliders. Where are they? Any ideas..
