Note pod in Breakout rooms

Why is text in note pod not replicated in Breakout rooms? For instance if I wanted to post instructions in Breakout room, how would I do that?

Q&A Pod on iOS Device

A participant participating from a desktop client submitted a question in the Q&A pod. The meeting Host is presenting on iPad but does not receive the question.

I am having trouble seeing questions as a Host on iPad.

Making Participant --> Host

I created a meeting and added participants to it. On Select Participant screen I "Set User Role" of one of the participant to Host and then sent the invitations. When this participant (with the Host permission) logged into the meeting, she was still a "Participant" and not a "Host" even though her role was changed.

Shouldn't the participant be the "Host" when she logs into the meeting? How can you ensure a participant has a Host role when they log into it so that Host of the meeting does not have to open the meeting room?

Audio and Webcam Problems In Connect

In a recent Connect meeting there were video and audio problems. The host webcam video would freeze and the audio was cutting in and out. In the dry run the meeting worked perfiectly fine though.

Here are some specifics.

- Was a small meeting with less than 20 attendees did not have their video enabled.

- Using Adobe Connect 9.0

- Host had a USB headset with microphone and was on a hardline internet connection.

What could be causing the video and audio issues?

Changing Adobe Logo and the link

I am trying to change the Adobe logo and the link that appears at the bottom left in the Presenter presentations. Followed the steps to add my own logo at http://help.adobe.com/en_US/presenter/using/WS6EB20748-9F92-46b9-88E3-6EF9F3CDD2F0.html.

Was able to change the logo but could not make it into a hyperlink to point it to my company website. The instructions at http://help.adobe.com/en_US/presenter/using/WS890C3B49-AAE2-4ae5-ACE6-22777FC548E2.html didn't work. My custom logo is not a hyperlink. Any ideas how to link my custom logo to a URL? Am using Presenter 8. Thanks.

Participants Cannot Hear the Youtube Video

youtube video was shared in a meeting but the audio is not being broadcast to the participants. I tested this on two computers and the participant computer audio is working fine.

Why are the participants not able to hear the audio in the youtube video?

What is the difference between My Meetings folder on Home page on Adobe Connect Central and the My Meetings page when accessed from the Meetings menu item that appears on top of Adobe Connect Central .

Retrieve Chat History

1. In one of the meetings the Chat discussion got cleared inadvertently. Is there any way to retrieve the chat history?

2. My second question is if there are limits in chat pod - is the text in chat pod limited to certain number of lines or characters? If there is a limit what happens if you go over that limit of lines/characters in Chat. Is the chat text lost or truncated?

I am using Connect 9.

Collaborating On An Excel File

Here's a scenario where presenters need to collaborate on an Excel file. The meeting host is sharing an Excel worksheet in the Share pod from his/her desktop and wants all "Presenters" in the meeting room to be able to collaborate on the worksheet. All the presenters should be able to add/ modify data in the worksheet for collaboration during the meeting.

How does Request Screen Share function work? If all the Presenters are made Hosts in the meeting and they Request Screen Share from the person who has the File open on the desktop, would that work? Can multiple Hosts Request Share Screen of one Host in the meeting and then be able to collaborate on a document such as Excel worksheet? Or there an easier way to do this?

This is rather urgent for a meeting today.

window within window indefinitely

I have strange problem. When I broadcast my video it opens indefinite windows - window within a window then another window within a window.......... It happens in the SharePod also sometimes. Why does that happen?

Invitations in Unrestricted Meeting

How do I invite guests to my meeting from Adobe Connect Central in an unrestricted meeting. Have Adobe Connect 9.0. On the "Invitations" screen, Send Email does not open my email application wherein I can enter email addresses of guest participants. The "Send Email" button simply sends email invitation to all participants added in the meeting (in Adobe Connect). The help document at http://help.adobe.com/en_US/connect/9.0/using/WS11d1def534ea1be08a52b610b38bfaa95-7f8a.htm l did not help. I do not have "Send E‑Mail Invitations" option on my screen. What am I missing?

Anyone has answers how to do this?

Reports In Adobe Connect

- Reports generated from the Reports menu at the very top (Home ; Connect ; Meetings; Reports ; Dashboard)

- Reports generated from My Meetings --> <Meeting Information> --> Reports

Meeting Dashboard

In my Meeting Dashboard there is no data for "Most Active Meetings Over Last 30 Days" and "Most Participant Meetings Over Last 30 Days" even though I have had several meetings in the past few weeks. The dashboard is showing graphical data for "Most Viewed Recordings Over Last 30 Days" though.

I have Adobe Connect 8.

Any ideas why there is no data. Thanks.

Attendees with same name in Connect

I noticed that if there is more than one attendee in a meeting with same first and last name the name is displayed as <my name 1>, <my name 2> and so on. Why so?

Adobe Connect on iPad

I downloaded the Connect mobile app for iPad. When I host a Connect meeting on iPad, certain features do not work or not supported. Feature such as weblinks and Fileshare pods not supported; The Presenter Only Area, Prepare Mode, Adding pods, Giving enhanced rights to participants features not available on iPad.

Is this a problem only on iPad or other mobile devices as well?

Presenter movie not shared in Connect 8

Added a mp4 movie to a powerpoint and published in Presenter 8 to Connect server. In the meeting the movie does not play when I tried to share it from My Content folder. The share pod is blank.

What is the problem?
