Technical Communication Suite 5 and RoboHelp 11 released

Adobe Technical Communication Suite 5 has been released today, 14th January 2014.

It comprises RoboHelp 11, Captivate 7, FrameMaker12, Acrobat XI and Presenter 9. Illustrator is no longer included and this is reflected in a reduced price for the package.

Highlights are simpler HTML5 Responsive Layouts for mobile devices, Printed Documentation with your headers and footers and Resource Manager linked to cloud sharing such as Dropbox, Google Drive and Sky Drive.

Both the Technical Communication Suite 5 and RoboHelp 11 can be purchased with a perpetual licence or used with a subscription.

RoboHelp for Word

This version of RoboHelp does not include RoboHelp for Word. If you still need that for any reason be it that you still need to create HLP files or you prefer to work that way, then leave RoboHelp for Word installed from you current version. RoboHelp HTML allows you to link Word documents so you could author in Word and use RoboHelp HTML to generate your online help (except HLP files).
