I need to implement this funcionaltiy to a site and tried your example - didn't work for me

You've placed the script before the price. You have to place it after the price. Always add your scripts to the bottom of your pages.

Hello Mario,

I have applied the above and it works great, thanks for that!

However, as usual when I try something new I have issues with my layout. It seems that with the Retail Price line missing from some items in the following product list from the online shop element the heights are out of alignment.

As you can see it is causing some areas of this element not to be used (blank product tiles). I know this will probably be an easy one and apologize ahead of time as I am quite new to web coding and BC.

You can do this with just CSS, no need for javaScript:

HTML:

<h3 class="sale{tag_onsale}">
Price: 
<span class="normalPrice">{tag_retailprice}</span>
<span class="salePrice">{tag_saleprice}</span>
</h3>

CSS:

.sale0 .salePrice{display:none;}
.sale1 .salePrice{display:inline;}

You could also add .sale1 .normalPrice{text-decoration:line-through;} to the CSS for niceness.

Thanks Mario - worked a treat. I just added some JS & CSS for product details to read on one line.
