Hi Marion, are you sure this feature works? I have just added a customer update details form to my page and I can see the dropdown option to add in Custom CRM forms, but when I click it to add one in there are NO options, except for 'all CRM Forms' and when i click that it does nothing.

I've tried this method on two of my sites and I am not seeing specific CRM forms that I can add. When I insert my module onto a test page and I click the dropdown to select additional CRM forms to add to the update user details form I only have one option: "All CRM Forms". I have over 10 custom CRM forms and none are listed in the dropdown. Also, when I try to insert all of them by choosing "All CRM Forms", the dialog refreshes but does not add all my CRM forms.

I'm pretty sure this is a recent bug as I used to be able to do this and am trying to add a CRM form to a client site's edit user details page but I cannot insert it currently?

I just want to confirm this is a bug before I add it to the bugs thread in the forum. Can anyone replicate my error on their site? I created a test page and tried to insert the edit details Secure Zone module.

Sounds like you have created the custom CRM forms thetrickster but not attached that set to a customer. If you attach them to a case this wont work.

I have used this constantly and recently and working fine, there is no bugs here.

I have about 10 custom CRM forms but none appear in my module to insert a custom CRM field with the "Update User Details" dialog.

I'm pretty sure it's a bug as I used to see my CRM form fields in that list when I wanted to insert the "Update User Details" form into a test page.

All I want to do is add a CRM form to my update user details form like I used to be able to-- are you sure that you need to assign the CRM form to a customer first? I should be able to insert it regardless through the module dialog.

To clarify-- I am seeing the same problem as Always Interactive above. I've tried it on my partner site in addition to a client site which is where I first tried it and it wasn't working.

I am not sure how you are missing it.

You are not assigning them to anything, everything is unticked. So its not assoicated with anything.

Click contacts. Contact is a person (customer) in the CRM.

If you do not assign it to a person then the update details form will not show any CRM data when you choose it because there is none. Go to a customer in the CRM and you wont see those feilds attached to them, because you have not assigned it.

And you get the modules to render because that person would be logged in to pre-populate the form but work anywhere. Checked, all still works fine.

Whats the confusion? I am not following.

When I follow Mario's instructions above to try and insert the custom CRM fields into my "Update User Details" form, I get the same result as the first commenter, Always Interactive-- It does not show a dropdown of all my CRM forms (like I remember that it used to a while back) and the only option is "All CRM Forms" but even when I try to insert all my CRM forms with that option nothing happens to my form when it's inserted.

For your question-- yes. I can see those CRM forms that I've attached to a customer... I have myself setup as a dummy customer on the site and succesfully attached a CRM form to it but my problem exists when I'm trying to replicate the steps of the instructions Mario has outlined and get the same results as Always Interactive above.

Pretty sure it's a bug since we are both experiencing it. Can you duplicate the steps above successfully to insert a custom CRM form into the "Update User Details" module?

Like I said, it wont, because you not assigned any to a customer so it wont show up in the update details form because its not been assigned. You say you have but the video you showed shows you did not.

I just checked again, working perfectly for me.

Your saying your doing something but from what you shown I can see its because your not adding one to a contact. Look at your video yourself, you can see you have CRM fields made but assigned to nothing, so it wont show agaisnt a customer update details form because there is none.

And that is the only way you can do that. You wont have it show thorugh this method if assigned to a case for example.

I really am confused to what you cant do or not able to follow with how you do this?

Yup-- you're right. I thought since I've attached it to a few single

customer entries it would work but I guess you need to apply it to all

customers through the CRM dialog-- my bad.

Although that should probably be included int he directions above:

*Note: This topic assumes you have already made your custom fields and that

you've applied the CRM fields to ALL your Customer records in the CRM Forms Apply Form dialog .

Or something similar.

It didn't mention you needed to attach it to customers first which would have helped me and Always Interactive out. Thanks for helping with this issue and thanks to Mario or whomever updated that note to be more clear. It's working now.

If I insert {tag_module_customerfield,115499,311004}, then I see {tag_module_customerfield,115499,311004} in the invoice. But I need the record.

Hi,

I found out how to put custom CRM fields into the invoice:

Assign CRM form set to orders,

type in the records in the curom crm flieds in the order (at the botom)

put in the system emails / invoice the tag {tag_crmform}

then the output is on the invoice.

But is something wrong in the database?

I assign the CRM form to orders and contacts. Because in the contacts (cotomer details) I store the informations (i.e. International taxnumber) of the client. I need the record of the crm field on the invoice, same like the default adress (stored in Customer / Details and printed on Customer / Orders).

But there is mayby a bug: afer safing the record in the cutomer field at the costumer details, I can´t see the records in the cutomer fields in the order. The cutom CRM flieds are empty.

Is a syncronisation missing?

Can someone try this again, and maybe find an error of my way?

Because in that case they are realted to the form, not a CRM data attached to a customer.

Why the system don´t syncronice / ore use the same database?

Is there any other way how to do this?

Not the same thing, that tag is anything extra you add into the form, not the CRM. Different thing.

Dear Liam

I would like to output additional data on a case rather than customer level (e.g. the hourly rate that was agreed on for a case and which may vary from case to case, though the customer remains the same). Is there any way how to achieve this or can we only output additional CRM fields that have been created and entered into in the customer details section?
