I know this is an old post and I get that iOS does not play well (at all) with Flash, but it sure would be nice if the great minds at Adobe could write a native iOS app to access FormsCentral.

Hi Alex;

There are two parts or sides to FormsCentral, the authoring side and the form filling side. For the authoring and viewing and analyzing the forms resoponses/submissions the author needs to sign into FormsCentral. The application that you sign into runs in Adobe Flash.

Apple does not support Adobe Flash on iOS which makes it so that you can't, without using one of the alternative applications I list above that enables Flash, sign into Adobe FormsCentral to edit or create forms, or view and analyze responses.

The other side is the form filling, either a web/HTML form and/or PDF and both of those are supported on iOS and Android just great. Your users, the form fillers don't need anything special, they do not have to log in and there is no Adobe Flash involved so the default web browsers on iOS can fill out and submit FormsCentral forms.

Yes, Puffin works!

This may belong in another thread, but how can I get the checkout page to link to a credit card reader app for payment? As of now, the checkout page is for PayPal and credit cards and they have to manually enter all the card info. There is no way to process a cash or a card reader transaction. I have a separate app for credit cards but I need them to be linked with the order form. Is there something I'm missing on the form design?

Hi Alex;

The only payment method supported in FormsCentral is Paypal, you would have to manage any other collection methods, FormsCentral does not integrate with any other payment systems.

Using Paypal users are able to checkout using their credit card without signing into a Paypal account.
