I would recommend that you go here, Adobe Connect Help | Adobe Connect Support, select any option from the drop down menu and then click I still need help. You will have the option to chat with a live person or get a international list of phone numbers that you can use to call Adobe for more help.

The simplest solution would be to have a second Chat pod instance that the translator could type into.

Otherwise you can look to use the Closed Caption pod, Closed Captioning, or you may be looking at building a custom pod.

For instance, if someone is giving a speech in Spanish, can a translator type the text in English at real-time (or near real-time) for meeting attendees to see on a projection screen? My organization is hosting an event and needs to quickly translate speeches and display them for all attendees to see. Thanks!

I'm having the exact same problem. I have the full CC.

i am getting adobe pop-up on videos "sdelvenetworks.com"...in the middle of the video screen which block much of the video...there is no way to remove the pop-up...i have tried to get help on adobe website and telephone without success...any ideas?

I am getting adobe pop-ups in videos....asking if I want to sign-up for "sdelvenetworks.com"...which blocks out much of video content and which I can't remove....I've tried contacting adobe via website and telephone...it seems that unless you are a "customer" or want to buy something from them there's no hope of getting help...

Was the chat pod hidden? Was another pod put at full screen, thus obscuring the chat pod? Was the chat pod behind another pod? Was the chat pod in the Presenter Only Area (POA) and then the POA was turned off?

There are many situations that could lead to the chat pod not being visible. You will need to provide more information about the conditions that lead to this happening before any real help can be given.

You would have to go into the breakout room and add whatever text you want in the Notes pod. Each breakout room has its own instance of a Notes pod and they are not associated or going to replicate information between them. This would just be part of your room prep workflow prior to the live session.

Not by default. You (the Administrator) would have to uncheck it each time they create a new user through that wizard.

Hi Sameer- I'm going to complicate things- what about using a adobe connect meeting room, to share a power point, with a video, on an ipad? Any suggestions? I can get the video to play fine in the adobe room on a pc but have had no luck on the ipad.

There is no Chrome book add-in, so you can present but you can't share your screen. The Add-in is required for screen sharing and uploading PPTX files. All other presenter functions can be done without the add-in.

Can I use Connect as presenter on Chromebook?

I have a new ASUS C300M Chromebook. My boss says I cant be presenter with Chromebook. Is this because Chrome has a problem with the Add-in needed for screen share? If so, is there any way around it, so I can use Chromebrook as presenter?

Does Connect work if you use another audio input device? Have you tried using Connect with or without the add-in to see if that helps?

You can try enabling logging for the Connect Add-in, Enable logging | Meeting Add-in, and see if that gives any indcation as to why the crash was happening. You may also want to reach out to Adobe Support, 800-945-9120, and see if they can help you.Adobe Connect Help | Adobe Connect Support

Yes my computer sees the devise, but, when I connect it in Adobe Connect, the program freezes. So something is not working within the program.

I have used a bluetooth headset in the past when broadcasting VoIP audio over Connect. The big issue is that your device (computer, phone, tablet, etc.) should have the ability to connect to and use a bluetooth headset. Then you would want to verify in the Audio setup wizard that your headset is the slected device for audio input. This can also be done by selecting the drop down menu next to the microphone button at the top of the room and then Choose microphone and you should see all attached mics listed.

I restarted, logged out, logged in... This happened the day after they upgraded, but once I recreated all of my events, the images popped right in. Now recreating the event isn't even working... thoughts? Anyone?

Adobe Connect has nothing to do with the Adobe Acrobat product line (although for a short period of time it was marketed as Acrobat Connect). We do have a separate forum for Adobe Connect. I'll move this thread to that forum and one of the experts there may be able to assist you appropriately.

I am talking about Adobe connect, I am performing on-line classes, and I would like to use a wireless headset/Bluetooth devise in my session, but activating the Bluetooth blocks me to log into the session. Please let me know if this can be fixed, so I can use this technology.

Just so we understand what you are talking about, please expand on what you mean by in terms of “the program connect with a Bluetooth devise?”

Are you requesting that somehow Acrobat or Reader on Windows or MacOS be able to access documents on either a mobile device or another computer accessible somehow by Bluetooth? If there is a connection between such a device and a Windows or MacOS computer as a mounted volume, we should already be able to access PDF files on said device. However, if there is no such connection, Acrobat or Reader aren't setup to establish new network connections.

Please advise as to your actual expectations?

The problem with the pointer not being displayed on mobile devices appears not to be fully resolved. Although it is now displayed, when the pointer is moved this is not updated on the mobile device. You have to deselect the pointer and reselect it.

This happens on iOS and Android. Has anyone else found this?

We would only like to have the presenter and registered attendees have access to our Virtual Meetings held one to two Tuesdays a month. Each session is different and accessed by that days presenter and those who register for the event. Our registrations are processed and paid through our database/meeting file. Once I have a list of registrants, how do I give just the registered attendees and presenter access to the event. We would prefer that once they receive the URL that they be required to log in using their email address and Member ID which we assign. If that is possible, how do I upload or give the list of registered attendees to Adobe Connect so that participants and presenter have access to session?

I am trying to change my mail email in my account. The current email is no longer available to me. I've tried setting up the new email I get a message that says

"Your account changes couldn't be saved."

And then I get a new screen that says

"FOR YOUR PROTECTION, PLEASE VERIFY YOUR IDENTITY."

It wants me to use the old log in email address to verify I'm who I am, which I have done several times, but does not allow me to change the old address to a new one. When I try to put the new email in the main field again I get the same information as above and I get a pop up message that says

"An email has been sent to your inbox. Please check your email to complete verification."

I'm sure the verification is going to my old email address, but I'm not able to get any emails at the old address, as it has been cancelled.

Please help.

I've never seen the role change on the back end without someone changing it. Maybe someone else was tinkering while you were trying to resolve the issue?

Yes, the attendee (host) logged into the meeting but had participant role. Checked the meeting participant list in Adobe Central and the role of the attendee had changed back to "participant" from "host" that was given yesterday. Is that what is supposed to happen? The role of the participant reverts back to from the assigned host or presenter?

The room may need the 7-15 min to end its current session and accept the changes for the user's predefined role in the room. This can happen when the user has joined the room in the current session with lesser pre-defined role status and then tries to rejoin the room after getting elevated status behind the scenes. Have they tried today? Are you still seeing the issue?

An update: Read answers to a similar question and tried these solutions:

The cache/cookies was cleared for the attendee (given host role), closed the browser and reentered again. Tried a different browser as well. Also the attendee is in the system "Meeting Hosts" group.

Nothing worked.

I created a meeting and added participants to it. On Select Participant screen I "Set User Role" of one of the participant to Host and then sent the invitations. When this participant (with the Host permission) logged into the meeting, she was still a "Participant" and not a "Host" even though her role was changed.

Shouldn't the participant be the "Host" when she logs into the meeting? How can you ensure a participant has a Host role when they log into it so that Host of the meeting does not have to open the meeting room?
