I'm having this same problem. I installed GuideGuide to CC. Updated to CC 2014 and removed CC from my computer. I then tried to install GuideGuide to CC 2014 and I get the above error. Cannot find any remnant files to GuideGuide anywhere.. no other way to uninstall it. Not sure if this is an Adobe Extension issue or a GuideGuide issue.

** It's a Flash based plugin .

** I tweaked it with some reference to work with Extension Builder 2.1 and it is doing well to run and debug using flash builder 4.6 .

** I can see the extension in my InDesign file menu by debugging and everything is working as expected until i try to export it to ZXP and install it in another Virtual Machine contains InDesign CC 2014(version 10) and Extension Manger CC

Below are my manifest file details :

a) ensured to add <RequiredRuntime Name="CSXS" Version="5.0" />

b) Win: regedit > HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Adobe/CSXS.5 -

Added a new entry PlayerDebugMode of type “string” with the value of “1”. This enables debug extensions to be displayed in the host applications. -

c) <Host Name="IDSN" Version="[7.5,10.9]" />

d) set target as below screen :

I am able to debug my plugin built using Extension Builder 2.1 for In-design CC 2014 but i couldn't able to install my zxp using Extension Manger CC(7.2.3.29) .

Please let me known correct version of Extension Manger CC would help me in this case .

I can't install any add-ons in muse or download the .mulib file to install it manually. Please, help. Also, it's pointless to download the .zxp file since Adobe Extension Manager does not support Muse. Any advice?

I have a potentially related problem. Was trying to upgrade an extension that was installed in CC versions of PS, AI, ID. The upgrade prompted about conflicts and offered to remove older versions. I clicked okay and then got "Failed to update database. The extension will not be installed."

Oddly, though, the new version of extension WAS installed. It shows up in PS, AI and ID...but does not show up in Extension Manager.

How do I get the extension to show up in the Extension Manager? (Note: The older version was visible in EM, but not any more)

EM version: 7.3.2.39

I can't access my Lightroom presets in light room. I purchased the add ons and can't seem to install it. I used the extension manager and both presets are acquired but I can't figure out why I can't see them in Lightroom. Please Help.

Sieht so aus als wären wir bereits 3... und ich dachte ich sei einfach nur zu doof ums zu finden. Aber ich sehs auch nicht wie ich diese Cool Edges benutzen kann. Wär toll, wenn jemand eine Lösung hätte!

It seems like the Adobe Creative Cloud app is incorrectly installing CS6 extensions. Only the Exchange Panel extension should be able to do that. That's why they don't provide a "Remove" button for CS6 extensions on the add ons website like they do for CC extensions.

ToonVW in this post had the same problem as you with the CS6 extension. The Adobe employee who responded says that they're working on a solution but for the moment they just went in and manually disabled reinstalling in their database for the extensions that people were having problems with. They have screenshots of what information you need to send them in the post in order for them to find your account. They don't seem to have provided a private way to message them but it seems like they're watching the thread closely. We'll keep an eye on this issue and hope that Adobe fixes this very annoying bug in their add-on installation process soon.

Each version of Extension Manager only supports the corresponding verison of CS products. To install extensions for CS5 suite, you can only use Extension Manager CS5. Extension Manager CS5.5 or CC wouldn't work. But you have to download and install 5.0.3 update from Adobe Extension Manager Updates Downloads .

I am suing the CS5 suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, etc

Am trying to add some plugins to Photoshop and Extension Manager CS5.5 just crashes every time. Tried upgrading to EMCC and it won't open the extensions. It tells me I am need at least Photoshop 12.0. I thought CS5 was a later version.

I can't afford to upgrade when the suite works perfectly for me.

How do I get EM to work with the extensions I need?

The plug-ins I need are located here:

i installed:

AdobeExtensionManager6_0_8All.dmg

on my mac, then i installed:

AdobeExtensionManager-6_0_8-mul-AdobeUpdate.dmg

All of my other programs (dreamweaver, flash, etc) are recognized my adobe extentions manager but it does not see photoshop. i cannot install mxp or zxp files for photoshop.

i have uninstalled both dmg files and re-installed them. photoshop is not seen. the error is:

One of the following is required:

Photoshop version 9 or greater

Hi MarcinMac,

I'm sorry you're having difficulty removing the TimeTracker extension. Based on your other post, it seems that you purchased it via Adobe Exchange but then tried to manually uninstall via Extension Manager. If that's the case, then I believe that you need to Remove it via Adobe Exchange (Adobe Market). Here's a thread on Adobe Forums about it: Re: Deleting Add-ons

If you manually delete it, Adobe Exchange will re-install the extension. This is a feature from Adobe to ensure that you're always current with the extensions you've registered. This is not a short-coming of TimeTracker or any other extension. If you need any help, please reach out to us. Thanks.

Hello everyone. Running into a problem that seems common among several users. I was trying to install recently an application through AEM CC and got the message: "This extension cannot be installed, it requires Indesign version 6 or later". Obviously I have installed Indesign CC and CC 2014. Tried to uninstall/install ID CC and EM CC to no avail. This is the log if someone cares to check it out for me: 11/8/2014 12:39:52.218 [INFO] com.adobe.exman.controller.PassiveGatewayPrepComma - Pastebin.com. Thank you for any input.

I work with Flash CS6 an need the Keyframe Caddy, but if i install the extension there isn't any hack before it and it doesn't work.

When i click on the button next to the description there is a red symbol with a white cross.

Since Ysomite arrived, problems
appear with Photoshop CS6 and CC and Wacom.
Is what we should do a class action that regulate this ??

According to you description, this issue is about Acrobat. It has nothing to do with Extension Manager. I suppose you will get better and quicker support at Acrobat.

I am still having problem with downloading Adobe Acrobat XI Pro. I have disabled my firewall, turned off MACKEEPER,

I had it installed then iy kept crashing, customer support suggested I crated ANOTHER Administrator, which I did. Slowed my computer to a snail. Not to mention all my files are located in original admin. ( I am not a computer expert just a simple artist, who has the privdledge of a professional where I worked who kept my computer working. Just me now.

I am about to just cancel my subscription of Creative Suite, all I needed was Acrobat for Downloading and viewing PDF files, the site I had to use for whatever reason would only allow download using Licensed Acrobat??

Needless to say, I do hope I am using this forum correctly.

actually 7.3.2.9 is current, but you will have a hell of a time finding it. Sorry but dont remember where I found it.

The Adobe Ext Mgr sites are truly screwed up. One page offers to download the Latest (not 7.3.xx) and in box on the upper right also offers the same idea, but yet another non current file.

I think you need Edge Effect or Edge Effect Pro to give you the required panel to access from extension manager, the volume 2 etc are just additional frames. Check the developers page

Hi Andreas,

I've inspected your ZXP file, and although its signature appears to be valid and correct, it is not timestamped. This means that when the signing certificate expires (which is in less than 3 years), your ZXP's signature will cease to be valid and your extension will not be able to be loaded. I think this is the reason for the signature validation issues.

Can you please try re-signing your ZXP by appending " -tsa https://timestamp.geotrust.com/tsa" to your signing command?

e.g.

ZXPSignCmd -sign my_product my_product.zxp cert.p12 password -tsa https://timestamp.geotrust.com/tsa

(This should be possible with either ZXPSignCmd for CC+ or UCF.jar for CS6+)

Your product also appears to be a hybrid extension - with a ZXP packaged inside another ZXP. Therefore please make sure that the enclosed internal ZXP is also signed and timestamped in this way.

If this doesn't resolve the problem, please share your timestamped ZXP and I will take another look.

D207 means that signature of the downloaded file is invalid. As a workaround, you can download these updates from Product updates then run them manually to update.

If your OS uses Italian, Extension Manager will use Italian, too. If your OS locale is not Italian but you want Extension Manager use Italian, you can run command line:

1. Open Command Prompt Window (Windows) or Terminal (Mac).

2. Navigate to the Extension Manager application folder.

3. Enter the following command:

(Windows): ExManCmd.exe /launch "it_IT"
(Macintosh): ./ExManCmd --launch "it_IT"

I guess you were downloading a PDF file, and your tablet asked you to download Adobe Reader (not Extension Manager), right? If you have no any PDF reader installed, you should install it so that you can open the book.
