Hi,

I'm making an advertisement as part of a uni project however I am stuck.

I want the user to be able to colour in lips once the swf file is published and also have the colour change on the click of a button.

Someone please help as I've tried a few and none of them seem to work

How do you create a smaller window for an swf file then have it load on your site in those specific dimensions?

I am trying to edit an FLV file with flash professiona. Right now every frame is on long frame sequence, meaning that right now there is only one key fram in the entire 40 second animation. I am trying to add put key frames at various points in my animation but when I attempt to add a new key frame into the timeline it copies ever frame up to the selected and adds it to the front of my timeline. Any Idea how to fix this? I want to break my video up so I can add some shape tweens in between some of the frames

Problem publishing Flash Movie

I have an assignment due for my college web design class in the topic of flash. We had to create these flash movies to show basic skills. I completed the project just fine, and it plays when I test it in flash professional, as well as when I test the publishing of it as HTML. It does not work in any of my browsers after I publish it. My professor of course is non-responsive to my questions.

Other flash movies work in my browser just not these. I am pretty sure the problem comes in publishing it though because it works when I test it. I have Flash Professional CS 5.5 on my home computer. I cannot get a free trial of CS6 because both of my computers run Vista. Is the problem that I have CS 5.5 and not 6?

This doesn’t make sense to me since I have made a flash movie a few years ago on CS5.5 and it still plays to this day? I’m kind of in a panic because my assignment is due this evening, and it won’t publish, yet it works when I test it! My university’s computers have CS6 but I can’t get there in time, I was hoping to hear from the professor, but that’s not happening unfortunately.

I am hoping it is a small error I’m making and not the problem of it not being the latest version of flash.

I was able publish my app on to a iOS7 device successfully. When I sync the same app with iOS8.1 device all that I see when I open the application is a blank black screen. Please help.

I have the latest version of flash and I was wondering if there is a way to use a soft brush to sketch out my animations. A friend of mine suggested to draw them on photoshop or illustrator and just import them to flash. Is there a way to just skip this and directly sketch out my drawing on flash using a soft brush instead of the hard one?

Flash CS3 will not launch

After years of using Flash CS3 on our Windows 7 computer, it would not launch. So we did a system recovery -(everted to factory image), re-installed Windows and updates, installed Flash CS3, then successfully did the license verification. But Flash CS3 will not launch.

We copied the Flash Icon from the Start Menu to the TaskBar. This is the icon we clicked on to do license verification, but now we can't use it to launch Flash CS3.

Flash CC, the pencil tool isn't working, it closes the program every time I try to use it, plus the stage in not responding.

Hello, I'm having problems with Flash CC, first the stage wasn't place in the place, the tool bar was cutting off some of the icons and it got worse. Whenever I make a photo in another application, I cannot find it anywhere when attempting to open it in flash. Is there a certain format I should be saving these photos in? (I'd like to save it so their layers remain the same if possible)

When I run a JSFL script that is pretty intensive and in depth, Flash opens up but doesn't draw itself, and lists "not responding" in the window title bar.

My question is how can I make Flash look like it's alive (either have output show up in the output window, or have the stage update to the current frame that is navigated to from JSFL script, or put up some dialog box like the export movie progress bar)? The script sometimes takes about 20-40 seconds to run and the user may think that it's actually crashed.

I print out times of all my processes and functions, and eventually I get an output that seems reasonable. I thought printing output might help, but there doesn't seem to be a flush command for it that will force it to be written out.

Flash is not responding constantly only when I open a more complex project

Hi all,

Originally, I downloaded the free trial of Flash Professional CC 2014 to work on a major project. As my project has become more complex, flash suddenly kept not responding. The issue is not evident when I work on the less complex projects.

I have tried giving the file more space by deleting other flash projects from my computer, as well as clearing drive space, but this has made no difference. The project file is 9.5mb in size.

I then downloaded the full paid version of Flash and the problem is still there.

I have narrowed the issue down to a complex symbol I created, it has multiple layers with around 150 seperate keyframes. The issue started around when I created this symbol, and now when i try to place the symbol into the scene, I am able to grab and drag the symbol, and when I try the program stops responding. Overall without touching the symbol the program is very slow and often stops responding because of simple actions. I hope not to recreate this symbol as that will take up more valuable time.

I hope someone can help as I have a lot more to add to the project.

Specs:

Windows 7 64-bit

Nvidia GeForce GT 525m

4gb ram

Intel Core i7

Flash CC Canvas not playing in Chrome on Mac system. Plays is Safari and Firefox. Help please.

Hi, I'm a beginner. I've used createJs on flashCC for creating some content for web. It's a simple game of one question, you select the correct answer which is ''Fatuo''. The problem I have is that it doesn't play on Chrome of a Mac. In my Pc it works fine.

As there has yet to be any official response of a solution, I'd like to share what I did to fix my problem that was written above. Simply reloading the drivers for the tablet seemed to work, that is, reloading the software that came with the tablet on a CD. Hopefully this will help some people.

Simple problem. The magic wand tool wont select anything. There is a little "STOP/NO" on the icon though (The circle with a cross through it). Don't know what's wrong.

Hi,

Select brush tool in the tools panel,on selecting the brush tool there are three extra options exposed at the end of the tools in the tools panel. 1: Brush Mode 2.Brush size 3.Brush shape.Click on brush size option to select the size.

I appear to be have the same sort of issue. I recently got Adobe professional CC and the line fails to follow my cursor correctly, but only when I'm using my tablet and pen (Huion) it works fine with the mouse. Further investigation revealed that it was only the brush, eraser, and pencil tools that showed major problems.

Note I do not have this issue in Photoshop.

I am having the same, or a similar problem. Even though I am drawing straight lines on the cintiq, they call come out bent on top, like a number 7.

This does not happen in previous versions of Flash (only in CC) and it only happens in Flash CC, not in other programs such as Photoshop. Please advise, as this problem defeats the purpose of having both this hardware and this software. Thank you.

Such as Decoration Tool, Bone Tool, AS1, 2... However these things

Flash Professional hanging while startup

I installed Flash Professional CC 2014 and it was working fine. But now it will simply not launch and keeps hanging at 'Loading Document Templates' during start up. I tried cleaning up the Flash CC 2014 folder under AppData\Local\Adobe and re-starting the system. But it doesn't seem to help. I am using Flash Professional CC 2014 and Windows 7.

As you know, a number of features from CS5 are not active in CC (bones, motion editor, etc), making it very difficult to learn. Can't stop .swf movie from looping

I just started using glad pro, and I'm trying to make a flash movie for my website silhouetteofscience.com. Now the movie loops continuously, which is really distracting. I want to stop it from looping. I searched the problem on Google and tried editing the last block, as well as changing the action script, but I can only get it to stop looping when I use an HTML wrapper. This is a problem, as I want the video to display directly on my main website page. Any suggestions?

Hello everybody,

Today I got a CC abo to use Flash Professional, sadly a bug is occurring.

I downloaded the software today using the Adobe creative cloud software, so it should be up-to-date.

When trying to draw (using a Wacom Cintiq 13hd) a line using the brush or the pencil tool, the line appears at a different spot. When putting the Cintiq pen away from the tablet, the displaced line bends in a straight line towards the spot where my actual pen was placed.

I already tried reinstalling Flash and my (up-to-date) Cintiq driver as well as an older driver version, nothing helped.

When I used the tial version of Flash some months ago this bug did not occur.

It also does not occur when using the mouse to draw or using other software (e.g. Photoshop).

I am using Microsoft Windows 8.1 64 bit.

4 GB RAM.

Intel Core i5-3210M CPU 2.50 GHz

If you need more information, please tell me.

English isn't my mother tongue so I have some problems describing the problem properly, but I hope you get what I mean

I feel for you. When you say that it's BS that you don't have enough memory… are you sure? Did you try exporting it with a much lower frame rate, just to see if the issue is memory? I'm guessing. I hope someone with more Flash experience answers you soon.

Okay I have spend days working on a flash video, and I go to export it and it won't let me.

When I say that I mean it "exports" like 75% and then a screen pops up saying, can't complete export not enough memory or some BS like that. I'm using CS6 by the way.

I try fiddling with some setting and now this is what pop ups.

I go to try and find my "Library" but I can't and I don't know what to do. I have literally been crying over this for 5 hours. HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Hi all!

Working on an engaging educational project which will become an app if all goes well.

My idea, my design & only myself working on it. (Which of course IS the problem lol, I don't actually know any other adobe users).

Trying to import a single layer image into flash from an multi-layered illustrator artboard comprised of quite complex drawn components.

The quality I need is .swf, but try as hard as I may, I cant seem to get the import method down pat.

My theory goes: same size artboard/canvas, so I can draw the basics, import into flash library, roughly animate, then improve the graphics and animation/s as I go.

Sometimes I can import a single .swf, (exported from Illustrator as .swf single layer,

all options set to produce a single image supposedly) and it consists of only one .swf component which is what I want.

Other times the same import process will result in multiple symbols and its just a huge mess in library, but of course...

not a problem if imported to stage then converted to a symbol. (I just group all together on stage, and create a named library folder with all the component

symbols in it, then create symbol and have the movie clip/graphic in the root folder).

Tried exporting as .png etc importing as flattened bitmap rah rah and quite simply I am lost as to the most efficient way to do this despite reading my head off.

What method would a pro use please?

Motion Tween without losing animation

I have made a character following a tutorial and I made a walk cycle out if it. The next step was to motion tween it but it told me "multiple objects are selected, you must convert to a symbol in order to tween them. Do you wan to convert and tween them? I click ok and although I was able to motion tween him, i lost my animation. So my question is how do I not lose the animation and keep the motion tween so I can animate him moving forward?

I have updated flash, windows and java, have re-installed flash CS6, restarted my computer and reset my preferences but still flash crashes.

I am currently new to Flash Pro, and at the suggestion of the tutorial course I am YouTubeing, I am attempting to download the extension "KeyFrameCaddy." This issue occurs when I attempt to install the extension in that the manager prompts with "This extension cannot be installed, it requires Flash version 12 or greater." I downloaded the latest version of flash and when that did not resolve the problem I rebooted my computer. I've also checked and the extension claims to be compatible with my version of Flash Pro (CS5.5). Since that is the end of my knowledge as a computer expert (or fledgling) and the problem still persists, I need the actual expertise of the internet. Please help me.

I'm using Flash CS4. Believe it or not after having the CS4 suite for years I've never played with Flash itself.

So, I exported a 6-page document from InDesign to a XFL file and opened it in Flash, saving the file as a FLA file. My Joomla website can accept FLV files. How do I get from FLA to FLV? I believe I will need some way to have a next and previous button on the pages of the Flash file. In other words, no autoplaying of the movie.

I have now had this problem for months and am now getting frustrated by it. Everytime I run flash cs6 it crashes and gives me a crash log file on my desktop. I have tried everything, I have re-installed flash over and over again, tried to see if files were missing in the c drive, I have pressed ctrl+shift+alt before it starts and delete the settings. But it still does not work.

If you think you know the answer please help
