Sorry you are experiencing these problems. Is it happening with just a specific project or any project? Does it happen even after a restart of the machine with no other applications running? Did you make any changes to the default preferences for CS6 (e.g., enable the Render Multiple Frames Simultaneously option, enable Auto-Save, etc.)?

Yes, a crash report can be helpful to diagnose what might be going on.

Today I installed After Effects CS6 and tried to open a project I was working on yesterday (I was on 5.5 and was working fine). After 60-80 seconds after effects crashes, no matter what I'm doing. I also tried to disable some effects that may be conflicting (particular) and it keeps to crash. Of course I tried to repair permissions, reboot etc..

Please tell me if a crash report would be useful.
