      <title>msvcr70.dll is not a valid windows image</title>

      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:3c7eeced-16be-4204-a557-e520ca7e39d4] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="https://forums.adobe.com/servlet/JiveServlet/showImage/2-4461756-202035/Capture.JPG"&gt;&lt;img alt="Capture.JPG" class="jive-image jive-image-thumbnail" height="82" src="https://forums.adobe.com/servlet/JiveServlet/downloadImage/2-4461756-202035/450-82/Capture.JPG" width="450"/&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;msvcr70.dll is not a valid Windows image: &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;This is the pop-up from Windows while installing Photoshop Elements 6.0 on XP&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The msvcr70.dll is placed in the .Net Framework folder v1.0.3705&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;When installing .Net Framework Security Updates they would not install because of this invalid dll&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;After removing the dll from this folder the updates did install&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;My question is does Photoshop Elements require this dll to work properly?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:3c7eeced-16be-4204-a557-e520ca7e39d4] --&gt;&lt;img src='/beacon?t=1415886744446' /&gt;</description>
