And in case you wanna do this with .ai files : http://www.ericson.net/content/2012/02/multiexporter-multiple-resolutions/ to export layers as pdf first, then svg

That's a great tip resdesign (I forgot about that trick)!

Also- I know the OP wasn't asking for FW export, but with John Dunning's great plugin, you can export Edge-ready files from a layered FW doc:

You can use the script to save your layers unless your have groups. In that case I save my file as a second psd and in that one flatten my groups before exporting to files.

Hi Valerie, direct import of .psd and .ai files is not currently supported in Edge Animate. You will need to individually save out the layered elements from your PS file, then import those to the Edge Animate stage.

Hi, I want to import PS layers in Edge but I dont know how... I know it in Illustrator...but there is a subtility that I dont know with Photoshop...Someone can help me ?
