It sounds as though you haven't imported any files into the Organizer yet. Please read the following:

If you can locate the files on disk, select the corresponding folder and drag drop in Organizer grid.

These will then be imported into Organizer.

But as I have written, the problem is, that organizer will not show me the folder with the files

This is the area in Organizer where you see image thumbnails.

Does the Elements import window just show a blank folder?

Could you post a screen shot of what the Elements import window looks like along side a screen shot of what the Windows Explorer window looks like?

What operating system, what version of Elements, how did you import?

I have just imported 100 pics from my camera and placed them in a new folder within my photo folder. So why can't this stupid elements not find them, and what can I do to make it open its eyes.
