I have quark 5.1....and have always loved quark. The main diff between quark and adobe stuff is that the picture boxes are totally separate from the text boxes.. the overhead is way less..( with TIF previews ), plus the offset press functions with cmyk ( dot screens, angles, dot gain etc ) is really accurate.. PLUS the real dimensions of your products with Quark are really accurate ( doc size, registration marks, bindry cuts etc...if you know what I mean ? ).

Anyway, I love Quark.

It is rumored that the actual release will be after the big, Official Adobe Roll-out Party, underway in Palo Alto right now. After ~ 12 hours of confetti, horns, odd hats, spiked punch and cake, they will flip the switch and go-live (not to be confused with a now defunct Adobe program, Go-Live.

I suggest holding tight until June 17th. The release of the CC versions will come with updates about various other things that have been talked about here

SOME of those things include a CS6 bug fix for spanned AVCHD files, and an exit strategy for people who use CC and want to leave and buy a standalone product

Here it is the 17th... so where are the "updates about various other things" ???
