Now I see it. It is in the "Find New Apps" section of the Creative Cloud app. It is a new install rather than an update, at least for me. Please accept my apologies.

Your suggestion did not help me. Updates choice in EA also grayed out. Tried it twice. Running Windows 8.

I had done all that and it did not work. Had to uninstall and reboot for the manager to get it started. Am all good now.

A quit to the Creative Cloud application and a relaunch should clear up that issue, resdesign! It's a known issue with the installer and has nothing to do with Animate. The correct version for this release is 2.0.1.

Wonder why mine was acting up. All is well now anyway. Maybe it was just an isolated case.

Thanks - then thats verification mine worked, as well - even though there was no appearance of 'update notification', I went directly to the CC portal and clicked the Download link.

I have the correct number now.

Before it was: 2.0.0.250.24837

After uninstall, reboot, and update it is: 2.0.1.268.25632

Well for me, the app manager mentioned "up to date" but I still had the older version (2.0.0). Every time I clicked on download on the link Sarah gave, it opened the app manager and did not do anything. Like I mentioned above, it is only after I uninstalled and rebooted that the app manager decided to update!

Win 8 - I actually didn't see any notification of an 'update', so I simply proceeded to the 'Download' via the CC. Adobe Cloud Manager did its thing and proceeded with the update.

Just want to confirm I actually have the update, so if anyone else has it installed confirm the version number via Help > About Edge Animate.

I am seeing 2.0.1.268.25632

Is this what you see after updating as well?

You may run into the same problem I had for the new update:

The app manager was showing Edge as up to date.

I had to uninstall Edge, reboot and then the app manager started the update.

I am on windows 7. Will see if the same happens on Windows 8 at home tonight.
