Yes, but I think the question is how is the best, fastest, and easiest way to "apply all the new changes"? I have the same situation. I have an existing paid BC site that I need to change entirely. I already set up the new template (on a free BC site) but am now ready to make that template the main BC site. How is the best way to transfer everything to the existing paid BC site? Also, will the transfer only move over the page templates? I also need to move many web apps and content holders etc,.... Help please!

Which route did you end up taking for the redesign? I am in a similar situation. I am going to do a redesign for a Business Catalyst site that is outdated. I was thinking of purchasing a responsive site template and working it into the old site on BC. But, I am not sure how smoothly that would go. I am also considering trying to rework the current outdated templates.

Of course you can, BC partners update, manage, change, add new features to sites all the time. You have to create new templates, develop them in the background and then have a holding page, take down the site for a bit and apply all the new changes but it is 100% totally possible.

Well Dave, thanks for your response but I already knew that. The question is if I can change the template design without deleting and creating the site again. Example: I buy a template from BCgurus and install it on the actual working site.

Guess is not possible. I will have to delete the site, and then redo everything from scratch. the thing is that the template this site is using right now is obsolete. Is not even 960 px wide. So I need to implement a whole new design.

It sure is possible to make alterations to the template. If you download the site to Dreamweaver, you will find it/them in the Templates folder.

If you choose to do the editing via admin, then find it under Site Manager>>Page Templates.

I´ve been working with a client that has a website hosted on Adobe BC for 3 years, but now is asking me to change and improve the whole site. So I need to do a redesign, is it possible to change the template ? or do I have to delete it and create another one from scratch (using the same domain name) deleting all info on the site?
