Man! Tried pro-site years and didn't have responsive templates then, thought I'd take a look again today (now that I have CC and its part of the package) and shocked to see still no responsive templates! What the... come on Adobe, do you want people to use this or not?

Another new prosite user stunned to find a non-responsive website!! Never even thought to ask the question before spending time uploading/designing, etc.. Just a big surprise when I called up the site on my mobile.

You gotta have balls to assume the crowd is gonna stick around and *hope* for functionality that was standard years ago. Sheeesh!

I think this is a shame and I can't believe that Adobe didn't have this ready "out of the box". Currently I have a Prosite website but I am only using it casually as I am employed full-time. My lan is to transition to full-time freelance and I absolutely will not continue with the Prosite end. Behance is good for the community but not having fluid, or responsive layouts is totally unacceptable. Clients expect it and it doesn't reflect well on how up to date one is whether designer or photographer if your site isn't responsive. In addition, I think the paucity of templates is also a problem. I am already making a Wordpress site for a small side business and it works great , is easy to set up, fully responsive - no prob.

Adobe has all the hooks in place: Behance, integration within Creative Suite, CC file storage, etc. But a handful of templates, limited opportunities for customization, no responsive options - dead in the water. Almost doesn't make it and its been almost for a long time. 6 more months? Forget about it.

Don't even get me started on the idiocy of the site hosting included in the CC subscription. Business Catalyst?? Please.

I too have been thinking of going the Wordpress route - or perhaps Squarespace.. if only i knew how to implant the Behance API so i could use my portfolio from Behance on the Wordpress site without having to update multiple sites.
Still love Behance - but damn it Adobe! don't leave us users out in the cold.

Yeah, I tried searching for alternatives last night, and came to the same conclusion. Wordpress with some pre-made template would work out well for me. It's a shame that I have to update my portfolio to one more place then though, since I'm not ready to leave Behance behind yet either.

If I wanted an alternative to the Behance Prosite I would probably look at Wordpress, they have great responsive website templates. It is easy to get going after you have installed the Wordpress server on your domain (which also is easy and well described). The great thing about Behance is the network with all these amazing designers, etc, but Behance is probably losing some momentum since they have stopped updating features like Prosite.

I'm embarrased to use non-resposive site anymore, it is 2014 after all. What are some good alternatives to Prosite? I'm not a coder, so I'm thinking of using some service for my website. The other option would be to buy the website from some freelance developer, but that could cost a bit more than some monthly fee thingy, even in a long run, i think. So what are some good and easy responsive website hosting sites?

I've been waiting for this ages now too. It is getting to the point that I will be making a new website on a new platform for that reason.

It's a shame, I would much rather stay with what I have at the moment if there was a sign of this being taken care of in the near future.

I just upgrade my prosite account and what a surprise when I check it on my phone and I see that is not responsive!

I took it for granted that it´s was responsive, with that price. When is going to happen? It´s definetly a must have service.

I have an old portfolio site which works on all platforms, but isn't responsive. It seems as if Adobe/Behance has left their much bragged about Prosites drifting. Guess I'll have to do something in Bootstrap/Wordpress instead. Only disadvantage is it'll be quite time consuming.

I wonder where we have to redirect our questions.. because neither Sarah or anybody else from the Adobe team have replied for the longest time :/
Guess i'll get starter on my Behance portfolio but have my personal portfolio site somewhere else, where a responsive design is possible.. until (if) adobe does something about Prosite!

I've been waiting for responsive layouts for ages now.. I went from a personal designed responsive framework to a Prosite - because of the simplicity/usability..
But the lack of a responsive template/design is something that a lot of people are missing.. I really, really hope it will be added in the nearest future.

Yes, it would be great having responsive templates with Prosite. The Behance portfolios and projects already are responsive, so this will be the next step.

I've been waiting for an update to this for over a year now too... If I would've known it takes this long, I would have made some other solutions for my site. This is the most important update for me atm (Compared to this, I don't even care about PS/ID/IL updates anymore...)

Hello, it's March 2014. Was going to start using Prosite for my personal website, since my old is'nt responsive. Noticed Behance Prosite is not responsive either. I am totally surprised! Thought Behance was a cutting edge company. I am really surprised. See some of you other guys have been surprised for almost a year! Do I have to build my own Bootstrap thing then? So much hassle with the updates...

Hopefully it won't be too long now. I don't know how tight-knit behance and prosite are, but behance is now fully responsive. Fingers-crossed prosite follow suit.

Hi, I agree with Fabio, we need a timescale to know when the responsive layouts will be implemented. The other competitors are providing really good responsive templates and Prosite should do the same.

The timescale is the key to wait to a great update with responsive templates or... leave Prosite.

Hi there, I would love to know when you are going to release responsive prosite templates. I would need those now and I am tempted to move to another provider becuase of that. Is there a timescale you could provide? Days, Months? Any ideas when at least some templates will be available? Thanks for your work.

Totally agree with you, responsive feature is a must have. I hope that it will be implemented ASAP, the other competitors have a really good responsive systems. I think that it is necessary, Prosite works well but is slowing down without great updates.

I also would really love to see responsive design come to Prosite as soon as possible! Competitors like squarespace.com already have that feature. The reason that I don't switch is because they charge more and I enjoy having my website linked to the Behance community.

Responsive layouts for ProSite are something we are working towards for future upgrades. At Behance, we are constantly thinking of ways to better our products through responsive design. In the meantime, your ProSite should appear correctly on mobile devices!

Hi,

I am moving my portfolio from self-hosted to prosite (comes free with my CC subsciption).

I've noticed only yesterday a thing I had assumed was already there...the templates are not responsive!

Is it planned an update in the near future? I can't find any information online about next improvements.

I think this it's a pretty basic feature in 2013 (actually not really a feature, they must be responsive out of the box!), or am I wrong?
