I do the zip/unzip of my installation on the mac too. You can also throw it in the trash but you need to empty the trash because it will find it there. At least with zipping if something goes wrong you can just unzip to get back to where you were. On windows you can run the uninstaller and that will clean everything up. Also you sometimes you need to quit and restart the Creative Cloud application so that it knows Reflow isn't there anymore and will let you run the installer again.

I often zip or gzip a file then delete the original to see what happens. You might try compressing the Edge Reflow app in the applications folder to see if it causes any issues with the other apps installed. If it doesn't (when it's compressed), then you can safely move the app icon / folder / package to the trash. I'm not sure what this would do the Adobe application manager's list of installed applications though?

yes i also want to know how to uninstall reflow. I have issues with the app and want to uninstall to make a fresh install.

Has anyone actually answered the question about how to uninstall Edge Reflow itself? It doesn't look like the question was actually answered.

I didn't see that option before. I zipped the plugin folder instead. (I guess it's the same effect). Thank you much.

Thank you for that Chris. That is really helpful.

Looking at the log file, I can tell you that removing the Reflow plugin might not help in this case.

The error seems to be coming from Photoshop Generator core. Turning off Generator in Photoshop CC (Preferences -> Plug-Ins, Enable generator) is your best bet.

I will forward this to the Photoshop Generator team.

I said dump, I meant log. I didn't get a screenshot of the message. It said something to the effect of Generator had and error and close Photoshop. When I tried to save my files I received unexpected end of file encountered upon reopening the files upon restarting Photoshop. The first time I received a message was on creation of a layer mask from a vector path. The second time was in a different file, I was converting the vector path to a vector mask. Luckily I saved the original file. It's just a jpg. I was eventually able to edit the file (3 attempts).

Hi Chris,

Here's how you can remove the Reflow Photoshop plugin - just remove this folder: /Applications/Adobe Photoshop CC/Plug-ins/Generator/reflow.generate

That said, I'd love to get the exact error message/dump you are looking at. Reflow does not edit any layer or layer type at any point. We just tell Generator to dump assets and give us info.

How do I uninstall Edge Reflow CC?

I recently downloaded the app because I was curious about using it. Now I'm having issues on my print files (end of file) and the stability of Photoshop CC when I do things like adding layer masks and vector masks. When I look at the dump for output it's indicating that I'm using an unsupported layer type due to Reflow.

How can I uninstall Edge Reflow CC? I have an uninstaller for Edge Animate CC, but not one for Edge Reflow CC.

Applications > Utilities > Adobe Installers

Mac OS X 10.8.5
