Thanks so much. I didn't understand that I needed to put the file path to java prior to creating the certificate. It worked just fine once I did this.

An other option is to create the certificate in Adobe Configurator 4. It also creates a .p12 certificate. You can get it for a great price, oh alright, to you, free, here:

One other thing to say. You only need to package products if:

You want to support CS6 or CS6 and CC
You want to provide a better install solution for files that need a specific location within an Adobe app, so things like Brushes can be useful.
You are supporting CC only versions or products not currently supported by the Adobe Exchange Panel like Acrobat, Lightroom, After Effects, etc then just go ahead and submit the native file or if there are multiple files a zip file.

Check you have Java installed, there should be something in the field next to Java installation, this is from a Mac so the path will look different on Windows. If you get nowhere, conatact me directly and I can create you a .p12 certificate you can use.

I'm on Windows 7 64 bit. The packager installed correctly and works fine until I try to create a free certificate. The window pops up and asks me to enter my name and password. When I click on create a window pops up asking me to name and save it. However, absolutely nothing happens when I actually try to save it to my computer. I've tried waiting for a long time to see if the process is just slow.
