Do let me know if you had signed up for the Plus plan and not the Trial of the Basic, I do believe you signed up for the trial...

PS - it is a free month trial, by turning off the auto-renewal it will not be renewed next month and you won't be charged, but you will still have accesss to that trial throughout the month (I believe you signed up for the trial).

Regarding the service giving an error when you were trying to sign in, I think there may have been some service interuption last night (PST), if you try again it should be working.

What type of document is the form you were sent? Is it a PDF form? Are you looking to use that as an "Imported PDF" in FormsCentral to collect responses in FormsCentral? If it is a PDF it depends on whether the form is secured or not (would show "Secured" along the top bar when opened in Acrobat/Reader). If it is not secured or you have access to the password/key then you could edit the PDF in Acrobat and change the title.

Josh - I do have another question. A friend of mine sent me one of his

fill in the blank forms for his investigative business, right? The form

was designed by someone else. He sent it to me and I need to change the

title. How can I do this?

Have you used more than one email in relation to this at all? Make sure that you are signing into FormsCentral with the same email address that you used to purchase the subscription.

Sign into this page with the same email and password and see what it says about your subscription:

PS - The PDF features are all included in the Basic subscription, the only difference between Basic and Plus is in the number of forms and responses you can have, all of the other "paid" features are included in both plans.

Josh,

I just signed up for the $14.95 (free trial?)...went in and pulled up a

form, right? Changed the heading, tried to save it as a PDF file and got a

notice that I could not do that without a paid subscription. I thought

that's what I paid for? What now?

5 forms - this means that at any one time you can have 5 forms in your FormsCentral account that you authored (forms that were shared with you would not count towards the 5). If you are finished with a form and want to free up space (if you are at 5 forms but need to create another new one, deleting an existing form frees up that allotment) you can export the responses from the form and also export the design file so you can delete the form but still re-create it later if you need it again.

500 Responses per for: This means that you can collect up to 500 responses (you can have up to 500 in the response table, if you delete responses you can continue to collect more). Similar to the form count, if you export responses and then delete them from the View Responses tab in FormsCentral this allows you continue to collect responses.

With the Paid subscription you will have access to all of your forms. You can save and distribute any/all as PDF.

Also, each response can (individually) be downloaded as a PDF form that looks like the original PDF filled out with the users information, this PDF is perfect to use to Print (we even expand all multi-line text fields so that they print).

Yes, if you want to save the form as PDF you would want/need either the "Basic" or "Plus" level subscription. The "Plus" is a better value, more features and cheaper over the year, but does require annual payment. The "Basic" plan is paid monthly.

tried to save it and got nothing. Send me the link and I'll go sign up for

Hi;

What is the work flow you are trying to accomplish? Are you trying to fill out a form, or did you want to distribute a form to be filled out?

The form you reference appears to be a FormsCentral web form, are you just trying to fill that out and submit it? Or are you trying to "save" that form to use in another way? If you just want to fill it out, do that in the web browser in the original form.

You can't save a FormsCentral HTML form locally to your computer and then open it up and fill it out, the original online form has to be filled out.

If you want to fill out (or distribute) the form as a PDF, if you are the form author then using a Paid FormsCentral subscription you can save the form as a PDF.

I am not exactly clear on what you are trying to accomplish, but here is an overview of FormsCentral that hopefully will clarify how to use:

When I tried to pull up a CONTACT FORM...saved it to my computer...tried to

Hi;

Is the "HTML" form you reference a FormsCentral form? If it is then sign into your FormsCenral account and open the form, on the "Distribute" tab you can "Download PDF Form" which will download a fillable PDF version of the form. (this assumes you were the author of the form in FormsCentral)

If you are referring to a general HTML form that is not FormsCentral then FormsCentral is not the solution. If this is the case you could use Adobe Acrobat to convert the web page to a PDF and then have it auto-detect form fields to create the fillable PDF form.

HOW do you take a form that has an HTM extension and change it to PDF so as I can use the form - and fill in the blanks?
