I see from a post by Liam Dilley that you have "Changed the Terms and Conditions for using the SFTP upload system. All of my development sites are on catalyst and I cannot do any updates to 7 July-September releases. Where is the secret "Sign Up" for the new Terms and Conditions of Service hidden?

As per usual this SHOULD have been much publicized BEFORE it was instituted I have 3 VERY unhappy clients who need to do site reviews and PageSpeed tests but I cannot upload three sets of optimized images for their July-September Quarter mobile sites.

Please enable "aes128-cbc" or "3des-cbc" on your sFTP so I can do some work!

Having issues uploading files through Filezilla 3.7.3 that are bigger than 2mb. Can somebody look into this?

It would make sense that you have the engineers make a note of this and use the system announcements efficiently.

EG. USE THE WHATS's New in the DASHBOARD for a change! AND Prior to the change would be nice to avoid the issue.

How about a little change management, or are you still incapable of thinking in advance after 4 years of missing the boat. Rather than bust stuff and hide the fact in some remote location like this, be open, or is that outside the scope of your job?

How many of the user base / partners have wasted time and energy on being inconvenienced by Adobe laziness in notifing us about this, be proactive for a change. SHAME ON YOU!

Yes, I did see their short list of clients that BC likes. Assuming this is the issue, I will research the software in the "OK" list and find something that will allow us to continue our auto FTP backups.

We have a good process at the moment Liam, and I've been using some BC partner resources and tips from Sandpiles to improve things here and there. If you have a prepared list of work/publishing processes, that might be a good Sandpile presentation or BC monthly webinar?

Megan, Did that support SFTP and did you switch to SFTP with that program?

If not then that will have been the reason.

Hi, We found that our FTP client of choice, Ipswitch WS_FTP Pro suddenly stopped working with BC sites after 6 January. Support was unable to tell us why this was the case, and seemed to have no information about this system update.

We have invested a lot of time into this FTP program - it handles automatic synchronisations for every BC site we have. I am disappointed that this change happened with no warning and no explanation. Why have some FTP clients had support removed, but not others?

Due to new implementation that provide for a much safer environment in Business Catalyst, starting with January 15th some SFTP clients previously supported will no longer be available as part of our offering. Please be advised and make changes to the SFTP client of your choice.

SimpleFTP
FreeFTP
CuteFTP
CoreFTP
